God told my best friends wife to divorce him

When will stupid men stop thinking with their peckers and blaming women for their problems? C'mon Wulf, look, I know he's your friend, but there's two sides to every story. You know your friend's side, you're gonna take your friend's side, that's what being a good friend is about but uhhh, dude, I'd be the first say that she's a gold-digging , but how can I when her parent's fronted up close to $1m ... so ummm, what was her payoff for marrying this guy? Seriously? Cause apparently her parents are loaded. Any chance this was just a case of dumb/mistake/oops? At least no kids are involved.

Shit, dude, mistakes happen; this one happens to be your buddy's. Maybe next time he should marry a woman because she's kind hearted and intelligent versus gorgeous/ rich/has great tits (g'head, tell me I'm wrong, tell me she's ugly, flat chested and dirt poor ... we already KNOW she had money).
oh trust me
after 8 years together she obviously has been getting soemthing from him too. Her parents absolutely adore my friend. Ties have been made between families.
He has always been supportive of her in every way and has completely built his life around her.
She is just selfish and short-sighted. She saw men with egocentric "power" and deloitte and touche and it attracted her because thats what she comes from. how fleeting is that crap? money is easy to make, all that so-called "power" a facade. The real test of a man is Character. And my bro has it in spades. It is really her loss, she will realize it down the road when it is too late.
Im pretty much a brother to both of them and have known and seen them both grow over the years. I never in a million years thought this would happen.
unreal

who knows what she has told them.
I talked to them.
The parents are shocked, her mom was hysterical. I guess it was just str8 up cold like "hey, I dont love him, havent loved him in years. I thought that getting married would change how i felt. It didnt, so I want to divorce. I understand if you guys are angry with me but you will just have to deal with it.

The girl was always very sweet, generous, and kind and loyal all the years I knew her. Either she put up a great front and fooled everyone or shes fuckin bi-polar. Im as confused as anyone right now. I bet in the next few days she will call me.

Wulf, honey, you need to think about this ... what you're implying is that the woman set out with an 8 year plan to emotionally destroy your friend for no other reason than to uh, destroy him, emotionally.

Dude, I hate my ex-husband enough to have seriously contemplated: 1) setting him on fire in his sleep; 2) pushing him down any one of several sets of stairs; 3) actually held a gun in my hand and thought about pulling the trigger ... and even I got tired of that plan after four years or so ...

Trust me, your job is not to tell your friend what a conniving bitch he married, that just compounds his pain by making him feel stupid. Your job is to tell your friend to let go, move on, and realize that people make mistakes and mistakes are good for personal growth.

Your job is to make your friend feel better, you do not want to make your friend feel stupid by making him feel like he was played for 8 years (plus, that's just stupid anyway, see my earlier point). Sounds like two people who made a mistake, let it go, man.

Now, was she pretty, or not? Seriously?

Even seemingly well-adjusted people make drastically poor decisions. I know it may seem surprising based on what you know of her, but ultimately, one cannot be totally surprised by human behavior. It totally sucks for your friend. What a rotten thing for him to deal with. Definitely support him in a way that leads him in a more positive direction. You're a good friend and person. You know what to do.

This is not a joke....

Vacations do weird things to people. Seriously. I ALWAYS feel "different" when I come back from vacation. Just questioning things, life, leisure, priorities, etc... No, not questioning my marriage, but it does do strange things to people. She may have been hit with that, among other things and penises.

is there any way you can make it out to this situation and help make sure they're safe?

I wouldn't think she'd have done it deliberately. I think she was just unsure when they got married, & instead of holding out, got married thinking she'd settle into it & be happy. Sounds a little like my brother & his ex, without the money.

the only way there could be two sides to this story is if the southern cock went in both ends
