Shit, dude, mistakes happen; this one happens to be your buddy's. Maybe next time he should marry a woman because she's kind hearted and intelligent versus gorgeous/ rich/has great tits (g'head, tell me I'm wrong, tell me she's ugly, flat chested and dirt poor ... we already KNOW she had money).

The only thing your friend needs to be concerned with Wulf is this:

She made her husband a promise, and now is relenting on that promise of her own free will for purely selfish reasons.

It doesn't matter if she had good intentions, it doesn't matter if she cheated on him, it doesn't matter if she is the best person in the world. She makes promises like "forever and ever, til death do us part" but means none of it. She throws promises around with little or no forethought and breaks them just as easily. Can you ever trust a woman like that, again?

Tell your friend that if these are her true colors then he should be thanking her for showing them at last. He sounds like a good guy, he'll bounce back, and she will still be a lying selfish spoiled little Indian-giver.

That's how I see it anyway...

good call bro
I talked to my buddy yesterday and he pretty much said the same thing. He was happy he found out now. And he is also stoked now he has his friends back. He is hurting pretty bad, alot of betrayal and clean-up to do. Still alot more to go through too as the rest of the story unfolds. But it was gonna come out sooner or latr and better it happen now than years down the road when there are kids and even more peoples lives would be hurt.

Been there, done that.. yea, much cleaner being early than late..
Also, he will get over it once he realizes "Why would I want to be with or fret over someone that doesn't want to be with me"?

300k on a wedding? You got be kidding me? What the hell do her parents do? Sounds liike she is a spoiled biattch. Sorry to hear about your friends problems. Women are weirder than we are.

Dammm that sucks sorry for your best friend.
One of my best friends is going through a divorce but at least hers is more logical as her husband is a lying cheating bastard.

(Does that mean we can see pics from the Vegas bachelour party now? :qt: )

He is a devout Christian so right now he is giving everything up to God. Holding onto the Hope that God will guide him in the right direction.

I hope he didn't let God steer him when he chose to get married to her in the first place...

No shit
Unbelievable
Together for 8 years. Married 2 months ago. She takes a 2 week trip to Texas for a work conference (Deloitte and Touche) because she is starting her job there.
Her parents spend 300K on their engagement and wedding. Then they bought the couple a 600K house.
She comes back and tells my boy that she has loved him in years(apparently the thought getting married would fix this, personally I feel it is BULLSHIT). She ripped out his heart and ate it in front of him. She told him last Sunday and she wants the annulment tomorrow. Brutal, she will have some karma to pay later in life. He is the best guy a know, humble, caring loving with the best character you can imagine. He supported this girl in every endeavor she tried. Then she comes @ him telling him what a monster he is and how he has held her back from "expressing herself" and being "independent" and " she needs to experience life". Then she said she prayed and God told her to divorce him.

What does she do for a living? Or rather what will she do for D&T?

What does he do for a living?
Is he what people would call a "good catch" (ya - all those superficial and monetary reasons)

2 month marriage failing after an 8 year relationship is pretty bad but being that what it is I think that there may be truth to her thinking that marriage would fix her unloving feelings. (she wouldn't be the first person to do this and she wouldn't be the first person to do this after having a big lavish wedding)

I would say that she probably knew going in that she knew she was making a mistake by getting married but for many the idea of marriage is romance enough until reality hit.

Really the worst thing here is her blaming him for actions she was also involved in - even if he were a monster and even if he inhibited her (not saying he did) - she chose to be with him for 8 years and she chose to marry him, she needs to face her own mistakes or prepare to make them again.

Your friend certainly has found himself in an unexpected and unfair position - but he should look at the bright side he will be rid of a woman that is wasting his time, everyone will feel for him when he tells them what "she did to him" and if he wants he can get himself a SOB of a lawyer that can go after her with something creative like an intent to mislead or false representation or some such thing.
