God I love to eat..

If I could just sit in a chair like a king and have people line up and put food in my mouth , I would. My fantasy is to lift, and just eat everything in site. I hate to diet, and even worse I hate to do cardio. I like playing sports, I like for my heart to be in a good state, but I hate doing cardio for purposes of not letting my gut get out of control. And I'm not a fat person, but Dammit it just pisses me off that the little fat under my abs won't go away unless i strictly diet. And when I start lifting and getting big along the way, I look in the mirror and see my gut get out of control, then get scared and start doing more cardio/diet, and loose potential muscle that could have been obtain during the cycle.

Sure I know its a personal thing..but just wanted to unwine, hopefully I'm not the only person that this happens to.

Me too bro. For the most part I do eat like a king. I spend shitloads of $$$$$$$$$ on groceries cause I get good shit. I eat pretty clean and usually off the BBQ every night all year long. Steaks, Pork, Chicken ... lots of sea food.

But I also have a huge cheat meal every weekend, usually pizza with tuns of meat or lasagna or something (fatty and carby). I feel that If I dont do this every now and again I will go insane. I think that my body appreciates all the carbs in one sitting also, no really loading but a good fix. Make sure you reward yourself for the good eating habbits with something you really love.

There i nothing better than walking into a gym on deadlift day full of energy ready to smash it up because earlier you just depeleted the oceans tuna stock by a 1/3 that morning along with the complete middle shelf of the fridge.

I can definitely relate to missing the potential gains of a gluttonous diet. Bulking is easy compared to gaining muscle while losing fat. My gains are definitely slower now that Im losing fat with diet and cardio. But hey, regardless of the quantity of gains, if you can gain muscle while losing fat, you are ahead of the game so I feel good about that. Oh, and Ive only had one cheat night the last two months. Three slices of pizza and a double scoop of ice cream, peanut butter and cookies 'n creme... aaaaahhh....sorry fellow dieters, I just had to post that, I cant get pizza and ice cream out of my mind...guess Im going to have a small cheat meal tomorrow! I think Ill get a white pizza, with ricotta and pesto...and then maybe a rocky road / peanut butter double scoop combo...oh yeah baby Im there!
 
anabolicmd ...cheat day in two months..good for you. i wish i could go 3 weeks without a cheat day . thats my problem. I know , I'm not entering a competition and there are many bro's out here that do just that. I don't particularly live the "bodybuiding lifestyle", just try to incorporate it in my life thats all. And to go a month eating clean...thats not easy..so i counld not imagine these dedicated bro's how they do it. Im sure their priorities and goals help them, but my goals and priorities are different, so I need some kind of instpiration, .........................or just stop being a punk and try some fina..lol
