Glass in the Amp

My last amp i cracked i used a amp cracker and i applied too much pressure and broke not only the top off but also piece of the side and a small piece of glass fell into the amp. the last amp i did ( the one prior to this one ) took a good 8 decent pressure spins from the amp cracker. Btw im using sus250 the karachis. Should i be worried about glass fragments?

I seriously doubt you have to worry about any glass fragments being drawn up. If youre really worried about it, use a smaller gauge pin(larger#) or filter it....

Just bein safe, I figured they would have to be pretty stupid to make an amp out of glass that easily fragments, but when i cut them they grind and it would seem like those small fragments would fall in.

The pin definitely isnt big enough to draw any glass shards up. However, when glass falls in the amp the oil isnt 100 percent sterile anymore because the outside of the glass amp is falling in. It will still be fine but you could try to get an amp opener to be extra safe.

i put clear tape on the top of my niles b/c they always shatter and the tape catches the fragments

i just about disintegrated a few sust amps around here lately. nothing in the juice though. i am using one of those shitty sanford sharpie ultra fine point pen caps. you know, the long black ones made of light plastic. i need a bic cap.

Happened to me a few times, I just drew it up and shot anyway. Nothing ever happened.
