Ack, I've finally decided to give up alcohol whilst I try to cut over the next 12-16 weeks. The problem is I find it REALLY hard to enjoy going out to nightclubs etc and chatting to girls without having a bit of dutch courage. Granted a make a prick out of myself when i do either but I just don't have the guts to either dance, chat girls up or even completely relax. Generally I find I just want to go home a lot earlier where as I'd really like to get out of this habit. Reaching my goals is THE most important thing for me right now but I refuse to stay in every weekend and miss out. Oh yea did I mention I'm at university too so it's REALLY hard to resist the drinking but i'm sure i can. Anyway i'm hoping at the end of cutting my confidence will be sky high and i'll be able to talk to whoever i want and generally just lighten up. It's just until then I really would like to know just how to have a good time clubbing with my friends etc, even if they are drunk! lol
