Gillette Sensor -> Mach 3 -> Fusion

I'm talking about shaving blades.

Ok, some years back the only decent blades around were Gillette Sensors, then they put out Mach 3 blades - which introduced 3 blades, a big improvement. Another company put out a 4 blade shaver, but their blades were crap. Now Gillette has gone a step further and brought out a 5 blade cartridge - Gillette Fusion, it's also got a 6th blade on the reverse side, which I found utterly useless.

Gillette Fusion is the best shaver by far, saves time and gives a smoother, cleaner shave.

BUT:

Why the hell did they have to reduce the large refill pack to only 6 cartridges? Gillette Sensor packs have 10, Mach 3 packs have 8 cartridges. 6 cartridges is nowhere near enough for a large refill pack.

In fact... other than that, I don't use it. I don't shave no more.. .

Just use a trimmer and go all scruffy...

seriously, the 5 blade cartridge is already chunky, it'll be hard to fit more blades onto a single cartridge without making it too big. But I wouldn't mind more.

first time i used it was pretty bad like that, it definitely has a learning curve


once you got it, it does a cleaner job than a multi blade razor tho

Yep. I got one in the mail and tried it. I loved it compared to the Mach 3. I can't believe how it is actually better. wtf?

I still have some Mach 3's left over from buying a 100 pack of them several months ago. lol When they're done, I may make a change. I don't know.

100 packs last a long time.

Love the Fusion though. It was really a pleasure to shave with it. I didn't want to like it. Now I'm pissed because there's something better.

When they said Sensor was "the best a man can get", I took their word for it and I still have a couple of them.

Mach III is the best for shaving my head though.

I got them from Ebay. They sell 40 -80 -100 packs. Any combo you want at reduced prices, BUT...... After I got them, I thought they weren't really that good. They were exactly like the Mach3 that I have at home, but something wasn't right. I couldn't figure it out. I called Gillete and asked them if there were known counterfeits to their Mach 3 blades (lol) They couldn't really tell me, but they said to mail them all my blades, AND the used ones, ESPECIALLY the used ones (ewww) and they'd replace all of them for me. wtf?

So I did, and they replaced all of them.

Ehhh.

The place I bought them was an Ebay store. It wasn't some guy selling just that lot of blades. They still have their website selling them. Not sure what happened there.

The ones I got were made in Great Britain, I think? Don't remember.
