The problem is that in some of those areas , if people don't know you , you
ll feel hatred. I can't stand that about the Northshore (Covington, Mandeville). They hate everyone...

In general, I don't go out of my way to avoid them.
But sine katrina , most of the "hick" towns I would have went into have been wiped off the map or in a rebuilding stage

There are little towns outside of New Orleans (Boutte, Hahnville) that I would definitely go into and stay for a bit

I guess I don't fear something happening to me because being stopped by the cops for nothing happens in the city more often then people think. In many ways you're safer in the "hick" towns as long as people know you.

I'm further down south and I don't feel like that..my dad who I have nothing to do with is very much racist.
