Getting high off incense?!?!

So a coworker of mine was telling me that her husband who was a daily fogger has since switched to smoking incense. It's called one-up and is apparently a synthetic marijuana. You can but it at most any convenience stores and it's legal. Anyone hear anything about this? It just doesn't sound healthy to be smoking incense. So who's fogged up on this??

It works. It has been banned in FL. It had a bunch of different names like Happy Man, Smiley Face, K2 was the most popular one.

Now they just banned Bath Salts. Which people were snorting and getting wired up to hell and back on.
 
it's not the incense or bathsalt that is making them high it's the chemical added to it..

illegal here in Minnesota effective july 1.. to sell in minnesota anyway.. not to have or use..

Bath Salts aren't REALLY bath salts dude lol.

they're a synthetic stimulant analogous to cocaine, but they're marketed as plant food/bath salts so they can actually sell them. People who have tried it says it is very much like cocaine
 
They use the word "incense" to bypass laws where ever they can. It's not true incense, it's not pleasant smelling like sandalwood or frankincense. The stuff smells like what it is, burning dried leaves.

Its made to be smoked, its marketed as incense to try and keep law enforcement off the producers and retailers backs.

It was HUGE here in San Diego with the Military crowd because you could smoke it and still pass drug tests. It got banned real quick and you can't buy it anymore. It used to be available at every smoke shop and liquor store.

no, i was going too, but the guy at the smoke shop told me that I should just stick with the real deal since i have the medical recommendation.

You're correct....also been compared to ecstasy without as much of the "i love you" stuff. Problem with meph is that one of the side effects is a desire to do more meph (during the high)...at the right dosage I've heard it can be a pretty good experience, but once you start doing more of it, it can go bad really fast. Subz, ask adonis about his meph experiences....he loved that shit and then swore it off after he noticed it was messing up his depth perception.

I've smoked the spice/kush/whatever stuff a few times...some brands have very little and short lasting effects on me. The same amount in a different brand had me contemplating calling 911 because I was afraid if I fell asleep I'd stop breathing. Only reason I didn't was because my phone was in the next room and I was having muscle tremors and weakness so bad that I would have had to crawl there and I'm not even sure I would have been able to do that. My friend who was with me was in even worse shape (and she later told me that at one point she was having the same thoughts re: the emergency room).

Never again after that...they just banned it in NC anyway.
 
I hear lots of bad stories about spice/synthetic marijuana. Smoked it once thinking it was real weed. It was a legit high but a little different.

Ahhh so that's what k2 is. We had a patient come in to the ICU because of a supposed overdose on this a few months back. The guy was higher then a kite.
 
I saw a 60 minutes on Bath Salts and apparently they make you see demons and go suicidal.

I've smoked it a few times. The high reminds me of the feeling you get on acid right before you start tripping, but with an insane amount of anxiety. It also made me feel super dirty like i just smoked some brown butter. It's not for me.

I'd much rather hit some kush for that all natural fogged out bliss.

Nope, only thing I've ever smoked was cigarettes and I quit years ago. I've never been a "fogger," ever. Stuff never worked right for me. It either put me to sleep or (more commonly) made me feel extremely weird physically, gave me palpitations and stuff.

I've tried the legal smokable herbs. Made me remember why I quit cigarettes. I prefer breathing when climbing a hill.
 
I smoked ome a few mos ago. I was all paranoid and kept checking my pulse on teh drive home to see if my heart was still beating. Then I swore I could feel my pulse in my right wrist and not the left. Needless to say I haven't smoked it since. I shoulda known after I looked at it and said to my buddy. "This shit looks like spices and tiny cotton balls!"

Just curious....what brand was it? Almost everyone I know who had a bad incident with it in the last eight months, it's been one of two kinds. You can PM/k-message/whatever if you don't wanna post it here.

I definitely agree...I knew that beforehand too, but at the time I was going through an "i don't give a fuck" phase. Given the range of effects these things can cause and the lack of knowledge over exactly what you are smoking (all packaging says is what it's NOT - any of the banned substances), it's definitely a crapshoot, which is why you hear about people going to the ER.
