my friend is a gunsmith. brought over 5 guns for me and the wife to test. the gun is simply for home security. settling for mossberg 505 20 gauge youth model. small barrel, real small stock, easy to handle in tight areas, and easy enough for the wife.

he set up the specs on the gun locker and seperate ammo locker in my closet. im psyched. anyone break in and hear click-click of the ammo load better be running.

We have to arrange for someone to break in now so timtimslim can try out his homicide moves.

It'll be light as hell too. I grew up with a youth model 20g.

Quite right orb, you never know when King George & his Red Coats might try to break in to your home and ruin your shit!!1
L.M.F.A.O were coming for ya, swords and longbow style lololol

If you use a shotgun for home defense you will be cleaning up blood and body pieces for months. Plus shotguns are not ideal for very close quarters because it is easy to grab.

Get pistol in addition to the shot gun.

we are in discussion about a handgun. my friend said strictly for home defense, odds are you wont miss with a shotgun. he said handguns are alittle risky.

the way my house is set up, if someone breaks in to steal, the house alarm will scare them away. if someone gets in for violent purposes, they would have to get up 2 flights of stairs to a hallway that goes to the master bedroom. if they ignore the alarm and get to the door, i simply plan on firing through the door. this is all hypothetical. people will say its paranoia but my friend, the gunsmith agreed, its better to have a gun and not need it then need a gun and not have it.

thats what sold me on it. my brother has a ton of handguns (not sold on them yet), shotguns, and rifles but they were too heavy for my wife, God forbid she need to use it. thats why i dont want her to use a handgun, im afraid shell miss and then she no longer has the gun. the 505 youth was LIGHT and easy to handle, even for her.

With training a handgun is much better.

Simply firing through the door may not be such a good idea.

I see bad things happening with guns in your hands lol
