Gettin gyno surgery July 10

Thanks bros
im actually not really getting gyno surgery, because technically nothing is being fixed for cosmetic reasons, or else id have to pay out of my pocket...the doctor claims that my puffy nipple problem is normal and will go away on its own which i think is BS, but all he is doing is removing the lump under the nipple...that should improve how it looks some because its gotten pretty big and it makes my ugly ass nipple kind of push out even more if you can see what im saying
ill let you guys know how it goes
oh and he told me id be sore pretty bad for like 4 days, and unable to exercise for a week...he said 10 days should be enough time to hit the gym again, but that id probably experience some pain for a few weeks, like 3 or so

care to take some before and after pics? This board is in serious lack of these. And this is a topic that will most likely be here for at least another 10yrs or so...

Questions:
1) If you get the whole gland removed, are you at risk for gyno ever again?

2) If the gyno is linked to puberty, can you get insurance to pay for it?

I just had my second gyno surgery 7 weeks ago.... and my buddy had his removed the same day. I call my second surgery gyno surgery but it was actually just the removal of some scar tissue which formed after the first one 4 years ago. The scar tissue only formed in one pec......

My bud had the partial gland removed in both nipples and had lipo as well I believe the whole deal cost him 4500$....

He just put it on a 0% credit card and pays it off monthly.

Good luck bro

if i can get to a friends house with a digital cam ill be sure to take before and after's

1-im not even sure if theyre removing the gland or what, im not too educated on this subject and the surgeon i was referred to was kind of rushing and not giving me too much info on the subject

2-my insurance is covering it since it is from puberty, all i do is pay a $15 copay with my insurance

I understand why you're getting the surgery. If you wait though, the lump should go away on its own more or less given a little time. It sucks waiting but it does. Since your insurance is paying I'd say do it anyways though. Good luck bro.

As far as having the whole gland removed goes, if your Doc is good you still wont see a thing. I had a pretty severe case and had both glands removed and cant even tell I was ever cut on. I also have never had any type of gyno since. Once the gland is gone, you are probably 95% sure never to get it again. I developed mine in HS from a cycle of anadrol and claimed the whole puberity thing with my Doc and my insurance covered it 100%. That was over 12 years ago and I have been gyno free ever since. Good luck with your surgery bro and I wish you a speedy recovery.

So I went under the blade today...

and it wasnt bad...the whole process took about 15 minutes from getting into my robe to walking out to the food cafe. They gave me local anesthesia, meaning just that area was numb and I was totally awake and able to watch. They made a small line around the bottom perimeter of my nipple, then shot me up with anesthesia like 9 times which was a lot more painful than I thought for a little needle. The liquid burned for some reason. Then once i was numb in about a minute they cut my nipple open and the doctor peeled the shit back halfway like it was a slice of pepperoni or something; definitely weird to look at your own nipple hanging off your chest halfway. Then the doc started to cut out the lump with a scalpel and some surgical scissors, and I guess since it was bigger than he had expected he cut a portion at one point which was not numbed:mad:
It fuckin hurt like hell but I just told im to shoot me with more anesthesia, so he did, and before I knew it I was stitched up and wrapped in tape like a big fuckin mummy who just had gyno surgery. For any of you guys thinking about getting it, if you can get it covered or afford it the actual procedure is minimal and faster than a normal checkup. As far as appearance, bafter I got my stitches but before they covered the area in tape, I was laying on my back on the operating table and I could already see that my nipple was now 'flush' flat against my chest and not all distorted and raised off the skin how it was. As far as the actual nipple itself's appearance, I don't know yet because I'll have to wait to get my stitches out and stuff before I can tell if its not droopy and crap anymore. The doc didn't specifically operate on the nipple itself (would have been cosmetic, thus, not covered) but removing the lump undoubtedly improved the overall appearance of my pec in that area, without question. I will keep you bros updated on how it goes, and I'll try to take some pics in 2 weeks when I get the stitches out.
by the way the surgeon originally told me take it easy for a week, but told me today if the pain doesn't bother me I can go back to the gym whenever I want, just take it easy and don't put any stress on that area...so tomorrow it's time for some back :D
