I can understand everyones view here. I just think we should let this be, and let the Feds do their job. This site can't be moderated at all times, and if people are doing wrong things on there they will be caught. You put George, and everyone on notice (legal). Which is good.

Now their duty has increased... Lets see what happens.

she uses it mainly for communication. IM. as far as i know she doesnt have anything on my space. i caught her going to another site that i disapproved of and deleted it and banned it. theres been other small items ive had to straighten out. real minor shit but if left alone could get out of hand. i have aol parental controls, i constantly check her cache and e-mails, IM's and anything else i can snoop on. its still tough, kids are curious about shit and like to screw around too. and she's niave somewhat about whats out there and what people might do.

I also caught the end of a news broadcast last week on ABC. It was regarding social internet sites like Facebook and the "real life" harm it can cause...all the way down to future employers because of what people post, pictures, say online.

This is pretty serious in my book. Here we have an underage member coming to this forum besieged by these two predators to post her tits and AGAIN, Lestat gave her instructions on how to have sex with members b/c she was underage. INCREDIBLE!


I think that this should warrant banishment, not to mention jailtime for soliciting a minor but in the very least guidelines on treatment of underage members should be made a priority and enforced by moderators.
Im not talking about being catty b/c she took attention away from the bayou booger farmin' cousins. But direct solicitation of nude pictures and definitely instructing a minor on the best way to have sex to lessen the legal implications for an adult member.

Adults preying on children on the internet should NEVER be tolerated, not here, not anywhere, but especially not here.

There should be banishment no questions asked and both Lestat and Javaguru made statements that she was underage and then continue to ask for nude photographs and again. Lestat gave a state by state break down on where she might be able to have sex with older members of the board.

Plain and simple. This garbage needs to be banned.

I've intentionally avoided addressing BB's post up until now, it clearly isn't worthy of discourse. However, some things need to be addressed;

1. "Show me your tits" is the traditional EF greeting to new female members, of the hundreds of times it's been posted I have never seen tits. It's a commonly accepted joke, nobody expects breast shots.

2. I missed the posts about her being under age, I don't read every post in every thread I post on, like 90% on EF. especially when it's a brainless thread worthy of a "post your tits" comment. I've had a PM asking about my bombing and my response was, "don't know." I couldn't even remember the topic of the thread.....

3. I assumed it was an alter to begin with like other regulars.

4. I've always assumed, incorrectly, EF was an 18 and over site.
A. Posts of naked people
B. Illegal drug use is the site focus

The last point is the most disturbing. I would suggest EF become an 18 and over site; It doesn't prevent minors from signing up and lying but it does limit the website's liability. All they need is a 16 year old to do a shitty syno conversion giving himself boobs and and an infection that puts him in the hospital. Considering the current situation, a jury could conclude EF was "reckless" for allowing minors unfettered access to this information without any checks, especially considering EF knows they have underage members.

I'm trying to get at more the credited response for this subject matter in a completely general way, being that it's technicalities can bring the law down with legal ramifications that damned well better be pre-concieved and planned for. We don't need to be every single rule and law to the letter, but do need to have general lines which need not be crossed. And it won't be the age thing, due to the integration of the internet into everyday human life. Thus, I propose the credited response would be to get rid of the low-class sex talk, innuendoes and similarsuch from the board. It's simply not needed, it's cheap and low-class (hardly "elite", certainly not prestigious) and not allowed in most every other area of life.

I'm trying to get at more the credited response for this subject matter in a completely general way, being that it's technicalities can bring the law down with legal ramifications that damned well better be pre-concieved and planned for. We don't need to be every single rule and law to the letter, but do need to have general lines which need not be crossed. And it won't be the age thing, due to the integration of the internet into everyday human life. Thus, I propose the credited response would be to get rid of the low-class sex talk, innuendoes and similarsuch from the board. It's simply not needed, it's cheap and low-class (hardly "elite", certainly not prestigious) and not allowed in most every other area of life.

I think an IQ test should be required. Also a training log and diet schedule. No progress in 4 weeks . . . increase in strength, loss of weight, etc. . . off the board. Bi-annual comps will be held around the U.S. to make sure you are not lying. (For MTS, maybe an income requirement - using his logic that would eliminate half the crap . . . but that wouldn't be nice).

All kiding put to the side, I am amazed at some of the responses (not from the Canadians, things may be different up north).

I think you were missing my point -- I wasn't trying to talk exclusively of EF. I was attempting to make a generalization of the internet and discussion boards in general.

Based on the premises that the internet has and is becoming an integral -- and requireed -- part of of human every day life, and that this includes people of all ages in all walks of life, then the logical conclusion would be to limit certain areas of certain types of discussion -- namely, that which is obscene and not allowed in basically every other area and walk of life.

Tell me this: in what public areas in life can you walk up to a random stranger and tell them to "show your breasts!" and expect absolutely no negative repercussions?

Work? No.
Subway? No.
School? No.
University? No.
Bars? No.
Club? No.
Hey broly, help me out here... I can't think of any?

To answer your question directly, Put in Bay...New Orleans... Women show their boobs on request freely. Which leads me to my next point, the internet is a zone where you can be who you want(like Vegas where everything stays in Vegas). Most of us are more rude than we would be in real life...it's anonymous! It also encourages free discourse so you take the bad with the good.

BTW, there are bars in the Midwest that have wet tee shirt contests which turn into showing boob contests...

But they are sponsered events... you cannot, at random, publicly walk up to a complete stranger and say, "show your tits". Period.

There are environmens where it's allowed, but they are specific and catered towards sex -- here, that equivilant would be the sex forum. Not chat, which is a melting pot of everyone from everywhere.

And it's not animosity for those whose who publicise personal information, give out credit card numbers, submit personal information in registration, ad infinitum. It is, indeed, not anonymous -- from the standpoint of a BIGLAW firm on a mission.

The danger to EF is their steroid forum and under aged people. This site does allow XXX rated pictures and movies. However, it markets itself based on its steroid forum. A jury could infer reckless behavior by the owners for allowing knowingly underage people access to this information. For the most part we are anonymous, I can't find out your personal info without access to their DB. It's just strange they don't even require being 18 or older for the site...it would serve to limit legal liability for almost no detriment to the site? I've had chicks grab my ass and privates in a bar and I expressed my dislike of their inappropriate advances.....guess what..I'm a guy and chicks don't get thrown out of bars for grabbing a guys ass...Regardless, a lot of nasty shit occurs in public...I fucked a girl in a bar once..right on the dance floor...
