Not photoshopped. Dysfunctional myostatin mutations occur in many animals, including cattle and people. Tests are presently underway with two myostatin inhibitors -- activin type IIB, which is an endogenous inhibitor; and a myostatin antibody called MYO-029. Exciting stuff!
