Gear showing up on an MRI Scan

Just returned from my sports physican today having viewed an MRI scan I had taken a couple of days ago for sciatic nerve damage around the periformis muscle in the glute (yeah a real pain in the ass). I was suprised to see clearly where there was a collection of oil visable on the scan where I inj in the top of the rectus femoris (quad). Fortunately the Doc knew of my AAS usage, as he checked with me that that was the case. It did occur to me that this might not be something that bros undergoing scans would want showing up for medical or insurance porposes. Anyone got experience or comment? Cheers, rod

Thankyou! Never really thought of that. Very informative.

rodney also had a few vials of tren in his pockets and about 100 omnas =P

I wonder what the abscess on my ass would look like under the MRI.

never tell the doc, and i never allow release of info to insurance companies aside from paying for a bill..

Just a question why never tell the doc? You are protected by doctor patient confidentiality? Unless you are in sports or something, maybe I could see not wanting anyone to know but even if you tell a doc and he mentions anything you can sue him for everything he/she's got. Little more insight as to why not tell the doc, just wondering if there's something I don't know that I should. (By the way I'm Not on steroids but plan on going on legally in 2 years)

Uh, son. Is that a huge lump of steroids in your gluteus muscle?

No, doc. Must by the Cybergenics building up in there. Or it could be the flaxseed oil I was rubbing on there. I don't know. So hey, can you write me a prescription for TRT?

THATS HILARIOUS this is y i love this site so much because after a stressed workout school or football practice i come and read this shit and laugh my ass off

my glutes to this day have scar tissue. about 3 years ago the mri found this and the doc ordered an ultra sound of my glute area and i said nothing about it.

LOL Thats about it Bro, no way you gunna explain that away. Its pretty obvious when you go to see a specialist physician & you discuss your bodybuilding & lifting history that they are going to know you are likely to be on some strong supplements. I'm upfront & rely on patient doctor confidence to prevail.
