gay subculture within bodybuilding

I've only been to two bbing shows but I swear I can feel the gay vibe out of the spectators (not homophobic BTW). I personally know one of the photographers for Muscle and Fitness and he's gay and he says that there is a huge homo subculture within bodybuilding. It's my guess that there is a lot of latent homosexuality in the bodybuilding community. What are you guys' thoughts on this?

Most definately. Go over to the chat board and take a look at the gay threads and gay thread starters. They're loaded with views. There's only a handful of members who are out of the proverbial closet, but I'm willing to bet that a relatively high percentage of members are gay or gay curious and just don't come out with it. I'm sure this is echoed in the bodybulding community as a whole, if not at a higher percentage. I believe that a lot of pro BB's are gay or bisexual. I'd even go so far as to think that the majority are or at least privately entertain thoughts of it.

I'm not gay by the way. Not that there is anything wrong with it. <----- Seinfeld joke. Nor am I a fan of pro bodybuilding.

I'm sure this thread will be loaded with tons of views.

I for one, feel perfectly secure with my sexuality (hetero BTW). I don't need to bash a group of people to hide my own insecurities and fears.

Yeah I think there is a lot of gay or curious guys out there in the bodybuilding community.Why the fuck wouldn't there be,more buff dudes in this sport than any other.If muscles attract the women , why wouldn't they attract the guys?
