I used to play Castle Wolfenstein on the PC too...wow...old memories! I'm sure it's changed alot since I played it tho...I think I might've been playing it on the Amiga my brother used to have. Hahaha.

For my current addictions I am still hooked on Diablo2 even after its been out two years now, I am toward the end of maxx payne but I can't pull myself off from diablo2 long enough when I am home to finish the damn game. If you want a AWESOME game that is hard as hell pick up Medal of honor the beach level is just plain awesome however I am still stuck in sniper town gettin picked off by german snipers that I can't see until I am just about dead but damn that game is sweet.

Halo rocks! Bungie made a first person shooter a few years ago called Marathon that was awesome, and Halo's got a lot of that feel to it. The weapons are pretty similar too.

On a side note, what makes you guys buy the games that you get, is it because you heard about it from somebody or played it in a store?? I usually just read the back, and decide if I'd like it, like how I buy my books, or if I played the demo somewhere I'll get it. There's just so many games I have heard nilch about, besides, when I like one game, I will play that one until I finish out the entire game, which might takes months!!! There's no way I could even think about playing a different game in the meantime.

I don't buy any game until I've rented it or downloaded a demo anymore. I've gotten burned on too many before, mostly console games. The box will look really cool, or I'll like the storyline from the box, and then the game just blows.

I played Homeworld on the PC for a month or two, and then got stuck on one mission, and haven't played it since.

Hitman's another one that I loved, put it down for a while, and never went back. Fun game tho.

Yeah.. word of mouth, reading reviews online, seeing who has the coolest graphics and all that junk. Plus the general theme is a big factor.. alot of games are so similar, so when something new comes out (like Jet Set Radio or GTA), it's always cool to play. You can only play so many first person shooters, racing games, and fighting games..

Halo is THE reason to get an xbox. Well, at least now. There are a shit load more cool games coming out in the next 1-5mo that should up the ante in the gaming world. Its got a great storyline and its really fun when you play the storyline mode with a friend. However, for some quick paced ass whoopin action you gotta whip out the multiplayer action either via split screen or net (xbox supports net connection, its a hack now but will be officially supported soon). I usually read several reviews of the game before I even spend my money on renting it much less buying it. ign.com, shacknews.com are the ones that I usually read. xboxmagonline is ok sometimes. Anyway.....
