Gal Pal drama

If anyone has any suggestions lemme know

So, my 3 best gal pals are in crisis central.

One, a NY girl her entire life is dropping everything including the business she just bought 8 months ago to sack up ans start over with her step father's son in Fl - because they have a "connection". I don't have the heart to be anything but supportive which is hard when my face reads - "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?"

The other send me an email yesterday asking me how the hell her life ended up being Green Acres. She left the countryside of the Carolina's to be a NYC babe and as she stated - sipping fancy colorful martinis at posh bars and restaurants to falling in love with a farmer/excavator and living on a farm feeding chickens and selling eggs. She's absolutely hysterical as to what she has made of her life and there's nothing I can tell her to cheer her up.

My Godson's mom has been wanting to divorce her husband since they got married - regrets her decision since the planning stages. He can be a dick yet her provides her with completely financial freedom - yet with everything else it's his way or ...his way. And he's one of those who will embarrass you in from of friend and family by arguing and belittling you publicly. Every time they sit talk about it he says I'm sorry -I love you - yadha yadha and then goes and repeats it all over again.

I don't know what to tell her anymore - she's taking it all well and has sought counseling while I try and keep her busy doing things with me and the other half.

:worried:

Tell Carrie to leave Mr. Big. Financial freedom is nice but not an equal trade off to being bullied around for the rest of her life.

Charlotte belongs out in the country and was kidding herself by thinking colorful martinis was the key to her unending happiness. Life on the other side married to a wall street ninja will be less fulfilling than her life as it is right now. Get over it.

And tell Samantha to cease all nasty incestuous activites and go back to her business.

1) Tell the first one what you think. What ever happens, happens, then let her decide what to do.

2) The second one needs to find something more than her farm to keep her busy.

3) Number three should get a divorce. He doesn't sound like he will change, and she doesn't sound happy. Money might give her sevurity, but it's not giving her happiness.

is the second mad she moved out of the farm or into the farm? The scntence "She left the countryside of the Carolina's to be a NYC babe" contradicts the whole paragraph.

DOn't know what to say about the first. Seems like things won't be as rosy as she thinks but at the same time if she can resell the business for at or near what she paid for it it may be no big loss for her and a good life experience. Unless she has a history of acting like this.

.

Well.

She started out in SC moved to NYC and fell in love with a man one summer in The Hampton (Eastern LI, NY) and then moved in with him and he just happens to come from a big ass local farming family - so yes she lives on an active farm (potatoes, broccoli, pumkins, corn, tomatoes, etc and chicken eggs)

:laugh2:

Wait, that makes me...

That makes you a red-headed mother married to a bartender. A bit uptight with less than perfectly straight teeth and probably a little less boob and tone than you're used to.

My girlfriend told me to say all that.
