Gains on lower doses?

Interesting. I've been running 125 mg of prop every week, however I've started cutting (very slowly though) and started off on 50 mg of prop every day, with 75 mg of tren for the firt week, and then cut the tren back to 25 mg every day. However, despite being in ketosis most of the time, I put on several ibs and gained strength while on the lower dose of tren, and weighed in at 233 the other day (although I tighted up by diet more and have dropped down to 225 now). I find it interesting that after being on 125 mg of prop a day, that 50 mg prop/25 mg of tren yielded faster gains than the higher test dose, while causing me to start looking a bit leaner. Perhaps there is something to the synergy theory put forth by a number of people, that show combined lower doses of certain combos yield better gains than higher doses of a single compound. The fastest change I've seen in my body was while on 50 mg prop/50 mg tren/25 mg of winstrol every day. That is less than a gram a week, yet I saw gains in body weight and strength very rapidly, while losing body fat.
 
I hear you bro. I've done it myself, but I find that I do not make faster gains. I can't believe I've been making gains on 50 mg prop/25 mg of tren a day. That is 525 mg a week.
 
My first 6-7 cycles never went over 525/week. The one i'm on now is right around 1 gram, because I wanted to try a higher dose. The gains have been good, but I don't think they're double what they would have been at the lower doses. I will still probably stay around this level since the side effects have not increased for me. My body is amazingly resistant to ill effects so far - knock on wood.
 
Same here DT, I didn't see better gains on a gram of test than I'm seeing on 525 mg a week... however I'm not exeperiencing any noticable side effects.
 
some people respond better to lower doses im on 200mg deca and 150mg enathate a week and getting dramatic results in strength and losing bf while contest dieting
 
the synergy theory might be correct, or it might be synergy between these two particular agents, or it might have something to do with different fluid/fat retention on this regimen as opposed to a high dose of a single drug. or it could be a placebo effect, or even be totally unrelated and have more to do with your diet/training, or something else.

either way im glad youre getting good results, very glad youre doing so on a low dose, and hope other people take this to heart and give it a try rather than useing the brute muscle high dose attack, which seems to be what people are doing more and more

goldendelicious, right, alot of guys seem to be turning to the higher and higher dose route, and truthfully I must admit for 2 weeks during my bulking phase I started feeling the itch and jumped up to 200 mg of prop every day, but then lowered it back down to 125 when I realized that this just wasn't the key. I'm begining to realize more and more that if your diet and training are up to par, low to moderate doses can yield outstanding results. I'm not the biggest guy on the boards by far, but I'm now out the point where people stare and even ask me questions about workingout, bodybuilding etc every day. Maybe all one really needs is 500-600 mg a week. I've noticed the trend of alot of guys using high doses, but then doing improper workouts, ei training a body part once a week (come on guys, if you are juicing there is no way you need 6 days of rest beforing training a body part again... ask anyone with a degree in excercise sience... natural guys do not even need this), or they have obvious deficiencies in their diets.

I beg to differ. I have a number of friends who only train one body part a week and they are all freaky huge. Some use very high doses of juice but I know some that stick to moderate dosages and they look fuckin awesome. My old workout partner was 22 yrs old.,had been training since he was 13, had 20 inch arms(no exaggeration) and a 28 inch waist, he had washboard abs year round. I personally saw him bench 440 after warming up with 225(20reps) 315(15reps) 365(10reps)405(6reps). I mean the guy curled 225 on barbell curls for reps. He was 6'1" at 250lbs and about 8% bodyfat, he would ONLY use moderate doses of aas. I trained with him day in and day out for 1 yr. he was my best friend and I new what dosages he took and that fucker looked better than any bodybuilder I ever saw other than the pro's. Thats only one instance and I know of a couple others. I think it has to do with the way your own body reacts to training, some people need more rest than others.
