why do you fuck it up? do you go out on weekends? whenever I go out I make sure and bring food with me like tuna, mrps, salad, wheat bread, whatever. That way I dont end up eating any fast food.
 
Exercise & stay busy constantly. This will also help you resist eating.

Don't be that guy that has a couch growing out of his ass.

How are you doing during the week? If you eat spot-on during the week you are pretty much at liberty to eat what you want on weekends. I hit exactly 30 clean meals during week, then when the weekend comes I'll have something crappy for at least 2 meals. I just make sure I throw in some protein shakes. My biggest problem on the weekend is not eating enough.
 
Is the "set point" theory a factual reality?
Anybody got studies de-bunking it?

I'm wondering if my body is trying to return to its set point.



ssme - I do ok on weekdays. The scheduled nature of work, and lack of booze, makes it much easier.

There were lots of threads about it on the Women's and Diet forums a few months ago - in particular showing that the set-point cannot be adjusted lower, but can be adjusted higher. :(
