Thought i would share this i was at a family function tonight and my wife brought up the fact that my clinic got busted for selling steroids....Wow, someone said thats terrible dont they know what they are doing to there bodies? Then another "i knew a few girls that got beat up from boyfriends that were on steroids, it really messing you up"....

its so interesting what the general public think about it...

well for 1. steroids in no way are healthy for you other than the looks.
2. steroids probably made the "boyfriend" pissed and aggressive so he beat the shit out of his girlfriend.

But yes the general public does despise of steroids as so would I. I wouldnt want any teenagers taking them and thats what most teens think, "steroids get you big". Once they take them at that young age they can either go 2 routes.

I will say this back in arnold day even if he did do steroids at age 16 he could buy them at the local phramacy no problem eat and train no worries and they were cheap back then..

Now adays young kids get into roids and are breaking the law in many ways plus the drugs cost more and some kids often end up becoming dealers to help pay for their own habits that can lead to more crime...

I feel the proper age to roid is when you have your own place a great job and have finished highschool... college is not that important many self made millionares never went to get a higher education. But of you chose a college then wait till your graduated.

Most gym goers have no idea about steroids so it's no surprise that the general public has no clue.

I remember chatting with a guy at the gym. He had a good, solid physique, weighed 230-240, mid-teens BF, early forties. I'd known him for a while and had no reason to doubt that he was all natural. I remember his excitement at discovering creatine. Anyway, I remember talking steroids with him. He said he couldn't imagine sticking needles in himself and messing with his body "in that way".

If someone who'd been around iron long enough to get decently built had had no contact with gear then what chance do Joe and Jane Public have?

It's a closed fraternity that uses steroids, and for the most part the average user is concerned with getting his stash safely, and not educating people about AAS...so most (non-users) people don't really learn about them, because users don't educate them. As a group, steroid users are not advocates for their cause by and large.

Find a pot-head in a group, and they'll extol the virtues of Hemp Clothing and Medicinal Cannabis, and all that bullshit...probably tell you what a humanitarian Jerry Garcia was, etc......find a steroid user in a group and they'll deny it and mutter something about creatine and glutamine...
