Fucking DHT!!

I lost some thickness on my last cycle(Hair) ANd this time im not taking chances.I will be on 700wk IP supertest , 400wk IP Deca, and 50mg ed IP Dbol. How much finastride should i take daily?

Finasteride would work well with the test, but it's not recommended to use with deca - it will prevent it from converting to dhn which is less harsh on your hair then nonconverted deca.

The Deca-5-Alpha-Reductase-DHN triangle has never been proved beyond paper chemisty theory. There is no evidance as to how severe in terms of hair loss blocking 5-alpha-reductase with nandrolone would be. Never proved if taking deca with test would still prefer finasteride out of the equation and less hair loss would occur. Actually, real world experiece teach otherwise.

Three points to remember:

1. If you're taking deca/tren along with test use 5-alpha-reductase block such as finasteride or better avodart (dutasteride) regardless, especially if your MPB prone. period.

2. If you've got the money / really like your hair, get Avodart (dutasteride) to obtain 30% more reduction in DHT levels with just 0.5mg of dutasteride as compared to 5mg of finasteride. This is believed to be due to avodart's inhibiting type I and type II of the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme.

3. Topical DHT blockers such as spironolactone or topical stimulators such as minoxidil can't hurt either.

Well seeing how DHN is a less potent androgen, it would make sense logically (if nothing else) to say that by blocking the 5-AR enzyme, you are keeping deca/tren in a more androgenic state for longer periods, therefore causing more damage to your hair. Plenty of people have had horrible experiences with using finasteride and nandrolones together. If this guy is going to take finasteride anyway, then I seriously suggest getting some topical spiro, which is an androgen antagonist, and will help with keeping the heavy androgens from terrorizing the scalp.

Based on everything i've read, Finasteride shouldn't be used with Deca, supposedly will make you shed worse.
That is not correct.
I shed on Deca in first cycle.
Took 5 mg ED in next cycle - no shedding.

Deca only? If it was deca only both times, then the finasteride did not help you keep your hair; you simply shed more at one point rather than another. And if you were using other gear in those cycles, you cannot pin the shedding on deca only. Deca by itself isn't as androgenic as tren, and rarely causes hair loss.

There is a TON of misinformation on this thread. Ignore all the posts. Please.

1) Deca and finasteride converts to DHN, where is LESS hard on the hair than DHT. If you are taking test and deca, TAKE FINASTERIDE if you have shedding problems.

2) finasteride works for test based gear.

This is wrong! Where did you get that finasteride converts to dhn? Deca converts to dhn via 5-AR enzyme. Finasteride inhibits this enzyme, therefore, not allowing the enzyme to convert the deca to dhn. Deca in it's nonconverted form is a more potent androgen than dhn. If you block the 5-AR enzyme, you're not allowing deca to be reduced, keeping it more androgenic, and more harmful to your hair. I usually agree with you guvna, but you're a bit off on this one.
