the light only comes on if you turn the thermostat all the way down to 60 degrees. I usually have it in the 70's
or if u push the button manually, but I dont ever do that.

up to 100-105 is fairly tolerable. Above that heats your shit up like an oven no matter the humidity.

It's been so cool in the midwest I only had the A/C on for one week in late June.

I've been in 100 - 110 degree hot weather and been more comfortable without the the humidity of a 85-90 degree day in the midwest.

dew point is the key factor when factoring in how oppressive the heat really is
Like today here it is 90 degrees with a 70 degree dewpoint, so it's soupy as fvck and feels like 105.

3:30am is when I went to bed, and it was still 87 in the house. Zero breeze outside, I had to drug myself to sleep and purposely left windows/doors open hoping it would cool off. 85 when I woke for work. FML
