Apple has always been notoriously behind on security. The CEO of Kaspersky says they are 20+ years behind PC security. The cloud is a bad idea.

Also, U2 fucking sucks.

WTFFFF now it's on my iPad too. I don't even have any of my devices set to sync with the cloud. Bastards.

I don't either and it's on mine too.

Right when Apple started their cloud stuff I turned off all my icloud backups, turned off my location settings, disabled photostream, turned off find my iphone etc. but somehow there are backups out there and it will sync still sometimes.
 
Apparently there is an automatic download option on iTunes and most people don't know it's there or have never disabled it. That's how Apple got it on your phones. And from what I've read, it's there to stay. You can't delete it.

I don't feel like looking for it, but I don't think it said updates. It said downloads or music downloads or something like that.

Were you able to delete it?

Under iTunes in settings on your device it will have

Automatic downloads:

Music
Apps
Updates


I have them all off.


I only messed with it for a second and couldn't delete. I'll sync to my mac later and try.
