Ok I decided to do my shoudler workout first, then the bar was taken so i did leg curls and extentions, holy fuck, squating after that, im not going to lie it was 160x6 ass to grass, but fuyck
 
my form goes to hell when the weight gets heavy
never progressed past 225 for a few reps

I see some no bigger than their arms unfortunately.

Shit, I don't know. I suppose the type of gym you go to will influence that as all the big boys seem to congregrate in one or two hardcore gyms in the area.

I do a 5x5 but the last couple sets I may only get 3-4. I started out doing 185 for 5x5 when I was back squatting 545 for my 5x5. They definitely check your ego.
 
I rarely do them the "correct" way becuse I have no squat rack at the house. So I usually just pull the bar up to my shoulders like I'm doing standing military presses, leave it in the "down" position, and do them from there. It's not hard, really, but it IS kind of murder on the upper body holding it there while trying to get a good leg workout in.

I need a damned squat rack.
