apparently she's become emotionally detached in some way... Distance can and will do this to people. From what you said, seems like she isn't quite ready to let go but isn't ready to move forward, (imo due to her being a bit immature and still in highschool) He needs to (gosh I can't believe I am saying this... lol ) ignore her, go out have a good time, spend time with old friends etc. The more this guy begs for her attention the more he elevates her on this make believe pedestal that boosts her ego and makes her feel that 'he needs her' ! Believe me, if he switches the script, doesn't answer the phone when she calls everytime, doesn't show a bother when she's not around or can't be around... she will come crawling back. Women love attention, (thats nothing foreign) and when they don't get it they completely change their whole attitude.

I disagree with the advice being given in this thread.
I say pull a pre-emptive strike and start seeing other girls. Once you find one you like distance yourself from this girl and only use her for sex. Also start making her pay for things such as your meals and dates.
Not only do you get a free ride with sex, but eventually she will get pissed and dump you thus keeping you from having to do it. You won't care however because you will have the other women lined up that you've been seeing behind her back.
Heck, basically you are only doing what females love doing to the guy, only you beat her to the punch.
