He was...is, good. He's also a vegan too, isn't he? Crazy muscles for a vegan.

Also, that physique beats any Olympia-contending bodybuilders of today, hands down.
 
I took Zane's Experience a few years ago, he was a great guy, a bit over the top, however he had a great philosophy about life in general. He was excited because I gave him a magazine cover that he didn't know he was on which had him and Ronnie Coleman side by side (in Zane's prime). I use to email him a while back but haven't in a while. A picture of him and I and another friend, sits proudly on my office desk.

Take his Experience if you have the $$$.

Disagree. Bill Pearl has a far superior physique. Even today, at over 75 years old, he looks amazing.

Then again, I've never been a huge fan of Zane's physique.

Pearl has a different physique, but not superior. Pearl had shorter, rounder muscle bellies. Tremendous longevity to his competitive career though. Plus the claimed to be an vegetarian for the last 5-6 years of his career.


I think Frank looked best in the late 60s. The first pic was circa '69. Super foxy in that one...my God! The third pic was near the end of his career, about '84. Amazing how he kept up with the trend towards lower bf, and stayed right at the top of the game for 15 years. Similar to Pearl in that respect.
 
S. you are so right. Both had staying power. :) But yes, two different physiques. Frank was elegance, while Pearl was powerful. Both had incredible builds but they were apples and oranges.
