What would you change in regards to cycling and juicing?

What are some of the mistakes you made that you are now regretting?

A guy I know is in his mid 30's and is regretting being on for 9 yrs straight with no breaks because he just got off the juice and has a test level of 0 and is severly depressed.

OK i am 27 so i am not old. But i will share this:

I would absolutely stay away from Winny and Primo. My hairline is not worth a few extra lbs of muscle.

I would wait till i was older to start. ( started at 21) Only because i was still a kid and knew very little of diet and was not in tune with my body.

I would learn more quickly to train only 3 day a week and that it does not take 16-20 sets to build a good chest.

But then again things are different now. Much more infomation more freely available.

1. Always do your own homework! Not just on the gear but also on the things that will get you out of trouble and keep you healthy. I'm talking from Arimidex and HCG, to Bromocriptine, ALA, Cranberry, etc. etc.. There are many others, you just need to make sure you're prepared for the worst.

2. Keep it simple. Stick with things that are considered predictable and relatively safe. I think two candidates are test and var. Maybe deca but I'd hold off on that I think until I was a bit older, only because so many seem prone to gyno on it.

3. Tap out your own genetic potential first. Hell I think there's bro's with excellent genetics who never give themselves the chance to find out. Don't go near any gear until you've really gotten all you can out of your own genetics.

4. Live the whole lifestyle. I mean eat right, train right, rest right. One of these things lagging will not yield optimum results.

5. Learn to be patient. Do it right and give your body a chance to normalize itself after every cycle.

BTW, I'll be 42 in a few months and plan on juicing (right) for the rest of my earthly life. :)

I began juicing 13 years ago. Back then there was all the talk about what to take to grow but noone nor was there any place like EF to get knowledgeable about gear in a reasonable amount of time. So I knew nothing about post cycle recovery. Damn I was in Germany and depressed as hell and loosing the woman I will always love the most and shrinking. I came back to the USA like a whooped dog. That was a low time. I didnt feel myself for over 6 months.
