For you leg guys---->

I am pretty ripped except that my body is holding some fat in my legs and glutes. I work out my legs once a week but no more than 1 hour. I was told your legs need about 5 days to recover but I also do about 3 hours of cardio a week to get leaner. Is this too much training for the legs? I want to lose mass on my legs because they are way too big compare to my upper body. Is jogging the best cardio to strip mass off the legs? Thanks guys!

I had similar issues, but am now proportioned, I did not cut back on training legs, my routine is a Double Variable Split (when hardcore) and that equates to two sessions a day, 7 days a week, 30 days a month. My leg workout is broken into 2 parts, Hips/Hams & Quads. On average they get hit 2x a week each. The secret is to escalate your other parts and increase your hardcore lifts there.

Once I added Deadlifts and heavier back routines as well as chest routines my proportion came up. I was also on cycle during the time, with Deca so it made the difference and I've retained the gains and now am proportionate.

I had the same problem. It's difficult for me to lose fat on my legs. I got better results by bulking up my upper body as much as possible. But the good news is you can gain really good mass on your legs if you work 'em right. My legs are 28 inches around the quads/hams. Definately my best body part.

wow i would say all but one other guy at my gym has big legs. (and hes one big ripped mofo) im a lil biased about legs myself being a hockey player. and it just pisses me off when i see these kids do nothing but arms and chest, and all have lil chicken legs. i wouldnt want to LOSE mass in legs, just tone them up. maybe try some new routines, hit them from at different angles.
