For those who think you drop size after a cycle

I think the people who post "you lose it all!" are just bitter people. Juice is juice, it's no miracle drug. It will only do what your own genetics would allow you to do. Some people's genetics aren't as good as others. So if someone loses, doesn't mean everyone will. I have never lost anything from a cycle.

Look at some older pro's. Lou Ferrigno is still a big guy, at 6'5, 275. Sure he doesn't look as big as he did in his come back in the early 90s, but still big. Arnold, while not the same Arnie from Olympia days, still has some impressive arms. If they lost it all, would they still be big, even at ages 48-50 plus? And to those who say replacement test from docs, bs. Again, just bitter comments in my opinion.

I also love the people who call bullshit on pros for not telling us what they take. Then when a pro does come forward, and tells what he takes, everyone says "bullshit!". So these guys can't win either way. Like their bodies are super special. Well, wait, in a way they are. These guys have incredible genetics. So would it be that hard to believe, that if someone with lousy genetics can gain 30lbs off of 500mg a test a week, for 8 weeks, a person with incredible genetics would need more, just to gain the same? Bullshit.

Oh well, I might get flammed. But, I'm sure it's by the same people who bitch about losing everything in a month, and who say they can't gain naturally, even though they just do machines all week and eat cans of tuna with a shake....

Waterboy

I think the guy who posted that may have had something different in mind. Although I also keep most of my gains... I do believe that everyone has a max amt. of muscle that their bosies will hold naturally. So, after you've surpassed that by juicing, I think it makes sense that a layoff from juice could result in a loss of mass. Just my .02.

Waterboy - Excellent post! I'm glad to see you've retained all of your gains and I definitely believe that one can maintain all of their gains by taking arimidex/liquidex throughout the cycle to keep water retention down and then keeping a high protein diet and solid lifting routine in check while off cycle.

I have a friend who I try to model myself after. He did a cycle in 1994 and gained some solid mass. Since then he has stayed natural and competed in some natural shows. He's 100% dedicated and looks amazing year round. He would be the guy you look at in the gym and say "oh, he's on something" when he really isn't. He just recently competed and used gear again to help maintain his muscle mass while getting down to a very low bf%. But it's the fact that he maintains a 6-8% bf% year round w/o gear that is the most impressive thing to me.

BTW, havoc was the one that started those threads about not being able to keep your gains post cycle. I believe, and I may be wrong, that he hasn't even done gear and unless someone has experienced it for themselves then it's very difficult to speak on. Feel free to correct me here havoc as I did a search and found no evidence that you've ever done a cycle.

It might have been him but there was a another guy who made a thread to

Hey C3bodybuilder, I dont know what the fuck your smokin but lou ferrigno still juices I see him everyday at the gym, and Im sure arnold before some movies takes some low dose shit, bro lou ferigno was shrunk to asses, till about 9 months ago, he started to blow up and get huge and hard again, dont fool yourself these guys never stop roids.

i would be happy if i could keep 75% of my gains off of my dbol sus deca cycle. everyone is telling me i will loose around half of it.

Dropping off

Cycling AAS is a process-very simply put- its 2 to 3 steps forward and 1 step back. gain a-little, keep a little, gain a little and so on. after a period of time your base body weight should be more than it used to be- done correctly. I am of the same opinion- the guys that have used GH will keep better than without-I have made permanent gains. several years ago I had a base BW of 205 it is now 230 w/out the use of AAS. it takes time to put on mature muscle mass and keep it.

I keep all my gains because I always eat sleep and trian. It has been about 8 months since my last cycle which was my first, and I have gained more muscle and dropped more fat since. Maybe my natural peak is a lot bigger because im still gaining even off a cycle. Everyone is different.

Example, I know people who lose their gains after a cycle faster than they gain it. Oh well.:(

I began at 155lbs, four cycles later I'm at 200 very solid pounds. I have gotten up to 215, but over the past year and a half "let" myself come back down.

I manage to keep upwards of 80% of my gains and actually that stat improves each time I go on.

I guess half of it is learning how your body works, the rest is your program.

Common sense will tell you gains are not inherently temporary.

Eat and train smart and you will keep the majority of the quality pounds you put on.

This does not apply to a-bombs or others of that nature.
