For those who say God or Jesus has helped/saved them.

I'm still with Lestat on this one. So far he makes the best sense.
thanks man, I like to think that I think pretty rationally and logically... which doesn't jive well with relgion though, because it is neither.

THINK FOR YOURSELF QUESTION AUTHORITY.

"I saw a man with a sign that said 'QUESTION AUTHORITY'. I asked him 'Who are you to tell me what to do?'"

Hallucinations are great.
so god should be youre personal prayer needs slave right.the crater of the unavers should just do it all youre way.you must think verry highly of youreself.

i too was raised Christian and prayed and went to church and even asked the lord to be my personal savior.

Then at about age 12 I realized it was all bullshit and I only believed what I did because my parents had told me.

No one has any real proof of God, that is why it is called FAITH.

Hell is a man made idea, its not hot, there is no burning, it doesn't exist!

The NIV Bible is a distortion of the KJV which is already a huge distortion of the original hebrew text..

think about it.. KING JAMES VERSION>. it was some fucked up king's own personal version of the bible... and millions of sheep live their lives by it.

So god only has control with the good stuff?

That's not really what she said. God is in control of all things. He just doesn't mess with man's free will, with his power of choice.

Yes many horriffic things happen and take place in this world that God allows but much of it is due to sin in the world.
In some cases, victims of these kind of tragedies will tell you that something good actually came out of it. Not all, but some. It depends alot on their outlook on life or their faith.

I was raised Catholic. I've was told to pray for many years. I can't recall any being answered. So now what?

People don't take into consideration that sometimes the answer is "No". People expect that just because they pray for something that the answer will be "Yes", and that if their prayer doesn't get answered in the way they want, that God just didn't answer it.
It's called inaccurate thinking.

i love how every religion has an answer for everything.

That was the first clue that it was BS... it doesn't matter what reigion you believe, they all have the same basic prinicples.
