For those who say God or Jesus has helped/saved them.

I hear it all the time "if it wasn't for god..." Or "God saved me from..." or "Because I found Jesus..."

So what about those people that get raped, murdered, deformed, disabled, burned, or born with horrific defects that make life unbearable. Did they have it coming?

bad things happen man. We were born into a world of sin and sorrow. If’ you’re raped or get into a car accident and lose your legs, you can choose to blame god for it, or you can continue living life the best way you can while you’re on earth.
For believers, it’s not about this life, or the body you have now, it’s about eternity with god in heaven. Life is short and miserable on earth. This world is full of hate and sin apart from god. Some of the happiest people I’ve ever met have been through hell, and from your standards, far past suicide, but, they know that this life is but a staging ground, or test if you will.

I was raised Catholic. I've was told to pray for many years. I can't recall any being answered. So now what?

I don’t want to offend anyone here, but the Catholic Church is basically a cult, totally contradicts the bible. Rituals, bishops, pops, confessing your sins to men and them telling you what to do to have your sins forgiven. Craziness.

in a study by harved they lernd that the words siad the most in a neer death experance are god help me.people that have bin shot hit by a car had a hurt attack or something that brings death right in there face all seam to say the same thing god help me.wether they say they beleave or not 98% of people say god help me.now thats gut fealing for you.its called pulling an athest out of his fox hole.

personally i am invoking god to damn everyone when i get mad... he just never seems to respond.
