...for Solid's brother as well as Solid and his family.

Solid's brother died yesterday (drowned) at the young age of 27.

Solid, bro....you are so much stronger than I am. I have never experienced anything like what you're going through and don't even know how I'd handle it. To have a family member be so abruptly taken from you is inconceivable. But when we talked you sounded good and your biggest concern was comforting your 16yr old sister.

You're a good man bro...a very good man.

My family is praying for your brother and your family, including yourself.

He's in heaven bro, a better place. Believe that.

or was he on the ocean and the current got him?

you have always been a good bro., helped many guys on here when in need of information. I have lost someone close to me before. I know it is hard but keep your head up high, look after your family/sister....my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I will pray for you bro.!

I really don't pray much anymore, but when I do next your the first person I will pray for. I have had two of my best friends die, it's hard, stay strong and stay focused. god bless. Bigty_2

I am seriously sorry to hear that about your family member. Though I don't know you personally, MVMAXX tells me that youre a real good guy (which makes me even more upset that a person like you has to go through a loss).

we are all praying for you bro...I lost my 14 year old brother in 98...All i can say is it takes time to heal, but he is in a better place....
 
Man, that's terrible. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you and your family. I know what it's like to have to be strong for your family. Although I know you will never forget your brother, the pain of his loss will lessen with time. Hang in there man.

Damn I don't know what to say. Solid's a good bro and I feel for him. I have 2 brothers and an older sister and I don't know what I would do if I lost any of them, especially my younger brother. Sorry to hear of this. Prayers go out to family and friends.

A very close friend of mine has lost 4 brothers during his life and he almost lost his last brother several times from suicide attempts. Ive been with him most of this time. I known the feeling
you must be feeling from what Ive talked to him about. Avoid the "WHY" word. It serves no answer. You'll get thru this. Its your family that needs your strength. Prayers to you and the family.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss...I have also lost many close family members recently. There is a book by Earl Grollman titled, " Living When a Loved One has Died ". This book has really helped me with the grieving process and I have given it as a gift to others that have lost loved ones and they all have been helped and comforted by it. It's an easy read, if you can pick it up I think it may help.

my friend just lost his sister and it is difficult to know what to say to help. it is something that you have to make it through, the help and support and prayers you receive from family and friends will help, but ultimately YOU must be strong and overcome the grief. just remember, it is not the end and he is not suffering. he is better off than we are. you and the family that is left behind are in pain and missing him, but try to be happy for him and look forward to seeing him again. be strong. my families prayers are with you too.
 
wow, very sorry for your loss, it is terrible news. This is a strong family here of guys(and gals) and you will make it. Take care bro and my condolences on this awful tragedy.

Tomorrow is the 1 yr anniversary of my little brother's death. I know how you fell about taking care of the family and your sister. My sister was 16 when it happened too. It's such ahard age to deal with that not that any age is easy. You are in my prayers and will always be when I think of my brothers death which is every day. I you need to takl, hit me up. God bless you and your famiy

You are in my prayers bro. My brother passed away last year at the age of 30. He was my best friend. I know how you feel. There will be no right or wrong way of dealing with your tragedy... just know that time will heal you. It was weird for me, after his passing I became such a better person and was actually very happy, but then a few months later reality set in. I think I am just now able to accept it.
