I am posting a non-parody thread. No jokes, just something about me.

So I'm on day 1 of wk 8 of my first ever cycle. (Super mild, practically HRT dose lol).

But basically. I'm not sure how many of yall know this. But last March I was on spring break (first trip to Mexico). Rode a quad and it kinda malfunctioned & i had a beer or 4 that morning lol. So I couldn't react in time. Long story short. I broke my collarbone into 3 separate pieces the middle piece was vertical and near pointing out of my skin ewww...
I played rugby @ my school and that ended my season prematurely (school finished #4). This yr I didn't even come out because my shoulder isn't where it needs to be. Was confined to a chair for wks and couldnt work out for 6 months. Gained a lot of weight and lost even more muscle :(

Update:

I went from benching the bar (after healing from 2nd surgery).
To repping 315 4X6. Not very respectable for my size; but considering my shoulder I'm happy where I'm at. I'm like 30 lbs or so down from 8 wks ago(blubber). And I'm more solid, feeling great.

wow this bish is long.

Cliff's notes:
broke my shoulder last march/got really fat/did light cycle to rehab shoulder/losing fat/getting stronger/feeling like a mini-beast lol.

good job bro, can we get some pre cycle pics?

Thanks. And lol nawwww.

I'm going to work as hard as I can to get a crazy physique for the summer. Maybe go down to S.D. or to my boy's place in Santa Barbara. Spend time with my shirt off like the old days when i was semi-swolio lol.

This summer I'll post Pre/post transformation pics lol. :)!!

Good job, repping 315 is great.

Thanks bor. My diet still isn't the greatest. But I'm hitting the weights hard and doing just enough cardio to eek by lol.

I want to rep 350 something eventually, I'm scared to go past 315. (shoulder)
For a while I was @ 295 then 305 where i knew i could go up but just kept slowly creeping up 5 lbs @ a time.

This, I can appreciate. Thank you. I find it interesting, and I'm glad you've come back a long way. My workouts always suck, and I never get anywhere because of my lack of discipline...no injuries as an excuse.

How much do you weigh? What was your strongest bench?

i suck at bp'ing :(

My natural weight (before injury/juice was 240ish probably like 15-20% bf) I have no clue, but I was pretty solid, not like anything close to bw1 solid, but you know lol.

Now I'm bleh lol. Trying to get down to like 220 but with a low bf% by summer (but also add muscle in the process).

lol pre injury 240-245. Post injury pre-working out close to 300. Now about 267)

I never focused on bench until now. I would rep 285 about 12-15 times usually do like 4-6 sets. Squat/leg press is where my  was.

ah man i thought you were under 200 lbs
i have to take back my props, sorry bor :(

lol Hence why I said I'm not happy @ said weight/bf/bench.

Just more motivation, thanks bor.

what is your sq numbers?

I don't squat anymore. (don't trust the weight on my shoulder). For maybe another month or two it's not worth the risk I'll just focus on leg press & such.

Pre injury my squat #'s were 455-475(fluctuated) 4X4

my lower back has been sore as hell after sq'ing lately.
my form is golden, don't know sup.
i'm gonna ease off

Oh and those squats were like parallel, quality reps. Sometimes I'd have to go down 6-7 times to get those 4 quality reps LOL. Nobody's perfect though right?

My deadlifts were a weak spot I never focused on them. Never got past 315.

You use a belt?

I used to in high school. My #'s were better, than the ones I posted but my form wasn't on point and what not. Also I hear it makes your lower back weaker if you use a belt too much. Not sure if that's true but i didn't want to risk it lol.
