Flying with supplements

Well, I am about to head to Boston for a contest next weekend and will be there two days in advance. I want to pack a few things supplement wise that I am afraid that the airport security may frown upon greatly. I am currently wishing to take with me the following:

Creatine
Multivitamins
Creatine Mix
Protien powder
Powerade Mix
Epsom Salt

If I try to put these in my luggage...do you think that they will flip their lids? I am sure that the epsom salt (white powder) is probably a big no no...but what do you think? I need to take these with me to Boston.

Leave them in their original containers and pack them on your checked baggage and you should be fine. If you plan on carrying them on forget it.

It's not a question of legality. If airline security searched his bag and found it he could be hassled over it. How do they know it is what he claims it to be. Everybody has these bright ideas on how they can just "explain" their way around it. Try convincing the guard that the bag of white powder, or the bag of pills aren't controlled substances. You can't and if they want to be assholes they can detain\arrest you untill it is proven. Do you want that bullshit or do you want a smooth trip?

I just want a smooth trip. I am going to load up on creatine, drink my powerade/creatine mix the day of the contest, soak in epson salt between day one and two...and take tons or protien too...just don't want to miss my flight or be messed with too much.

You should be fine if you follow Big Satan's advice. I would suggest getting the box of epsom salt as opposed to the bag, though....don't ask me why I think that...I just do. lol.

You should be fine with the other stuff....

OH, and if they hassle you about the epsom salt...buy some in Boston.

I'm sure airport security will give you a hug, well more like a frisk, on the way home. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't walk through a metal detector without a wand job afterwards. I love my steel toe boots.
