An update:

I visited flexed on Saturday, and he was in good spirits. While I was there, one of his docs came in and said the results of his CT scans showed NO signs of cancer. Flexed was obviously relieved. One note, not ONE doctor at that point had indicated that his use of AAS had caused any of his health problems, though it is safe to assume they may have complicated the issues. He mentioned several times how reading printouts of these threads are keeping him in good spirits, and how much it means to him.

That dumb-ass shouldnt have cycled so hard with Steroids... Or better yet shouldnt have used them anyway! I can't say I feel sorry for him, he choose to take steroids, he therefore agrees to the many consiquences that come with taking them. I do however feel bad for the intense amount of suffering he must be going through... Maybe the next time he sticks a plunger in his ass he will remember how he almost died. Probalby not, cuz he is yet another addicted steroid user. Anyway I do hope for a speedy recovery and for you to get a clue about the dangers associated with it.

The fact is, you have no clue, not one fucking idea, what his problem is, what caused it, or to what extent his gear, or his training/contest prep, or his genetic predisposition, or any other factor "caused" or aggravated his condition.

To those reading this guy's post, I think he is immature, but just trying to be blunt about the dangers of steroids. I think Flexed1 has been thinking very hard about the subject, so your rude comments are a bit late and unecessary. I know when I hear stories of our bro's getting hit with health problems it puts me in a funk for a while. Moderation is the key. Do what you need to do to feel good about yourself, and weigh out the benefits and costs of everything. Some of you youngs will want kids someday, believe it or not, and enough years of this stuff can put that dream away for good, as well.

I don't know Flexed1 and I'm not an advocate of steroid use. Plus I think it's silly that he has money to spend on gear but doesn't have any health insurance.

Nevertheless, I'm glad to hear his condition is improving. And I hope hope he makes a full recovery.
