Flax seed oil

Im currently takin flax seed oil pills, which contains - 1g (1000mg) then says Alpha-linolenic Acid (Omega-3) 700 mg... I take two a day, so double the value for my daily intake... But what im wondering is if im missing out on anything... Im alergic to most fish, (except tuna and very few other kinds) so im scared of takin the fish oil, which i think will make my throat close up like fish normaly does... When i read the fish oil caps, its a little diff.. fish oil 1g (1000mg) then says EPA (Elcosapentaenoic Acid) DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) and total omega-3 fatty acids 300 mg. Am i missing out on EPA and DHA since i only take the flax seeds? Or am i fine with just that?
 
I prefer to mix it up with flax oil and flax powder. 2 g is not a lot, I have consumed much more thanthat in the past.

I was going by the daily servings which says to take 2 capsules. I also have flax meal by the way, which im guessing i can mix with the new meg-3 anpb. Besides heart health im pretty sure it helps with brain fuction as well, any other reason why you took alot more Cobra?
 
That peanut butter is good stuff.

You can boost your flax program by adding borage oil. This will increase the omega spectrum and provides a synergistic effect on top of that. I forget the exact ratio - I'm almost sure it's not less than 20% of your flax. A quick search will provide the definitive answer.
