I'm pissed. I was tired and wanted to get home and I came to this light and it turned yellow so I punched it to get through. That I was all good, he didn't pull me over till way down the road.

Do I have to wait until my court date to go or can i go before. It says on the ticket "must appear on or before date listed".

If you're going to contest it, you have to wait until the court date, if you're just gonna suck it up and pay it, you can send in the money anytime before.

Dude, contest it. The judge will almost always just give you a reduced fine plus court costs, and throw out the points on your license for a first moving offense, as long as you show some humility. Your insurance rates will thank you.

I just pay my lawyer a little more than the actual ticket and it "goes away" Hell my lawyer erased over 30 points off my lisence. Now I have a clean record.
