First Test Run, Tore it Up, Not Even Sore

Ok yeah so I hit the gym last night for about 2 hours (longer than I generally do). I mean 2 hours of straight lifting (Back and Chest) and I tore it up!

Ate right after huge meal with Milk and woke up this morning thinking I wouldnt be able to move...I am barely sore (can't even tell unless I streach it out). WTF? I've been lifting for years and years and I knew I was going to be so sore this morning I couldnt move.

I either need to change up my routine (which I kind of just did) or the test is enhancing my recovery phase over night (durring catabolic state).

Is the test just working for me or am I not getting my much needed burn?

I notice that my recovery ability goes through the roof on test of moderate to high doses. I have to usually gauge my workout within the first several hours to determine if i got the job done right.

if i had the time i think i would take a crack at a double split routine. i think now i could recover quick enuf to do it.

Good to know so I am rippin it up but my body is takin advantage of the test, I had been working only one group a day but am now going at 2 (as it seems more pratical with the test).

I had been running in the am and lifting at night to conserve energy but changed it up to running just after my lifting as I feel the utalization of ATP for lifting is taken advantage and after when there is nothing left all I ahve to use it fat to burn on the tread.

That's not really true about burning fat after lifting. Really all you are doing is hurting your recovery ability from one lifting. You may burn a little more fat, but in all your total calories burned will be down because you don't have the same amount of energy.

Moreover, the true fat burning effect from cardio isn't measured as much while you are doing it. It is the metabolism boosting effects after. Much like you don't grow while you are lifting, you grow during rest.

You want to get your lifting done, get home and get your PWO nutrition going. Then after 6-8 hours go for the cardio. I think that is the best protocol even for cutting. But if you were concerned with athletic performance, then it's fine. I doubt that is what you are after though.

Now I'm more of a lifter, so I think I might switch back to running in the mornings an hour after my morning carb meal then protein shake after. Work at the office then Lift Hard that night (of course with a heavy meal and shake after). Your prolly right I want to retain my kcals for energy recoup and fashia reconstruction post lift

You need to remember that gear helps GREATLY with your recovering ability. You'll recover 2-3 times faster when juiced. You're unlikely to get as soar as you would off cycle. Perhaps initially you may be soar as hell, but you're body will adjust pretty quickly.

Thats one of the things I love and hate about gear. I love the soarness in my muscles, it helps remind me that I'm growing. But I also hate after leg days and not being able to walk lol.

Its also tough for your body to be overtrained when juiced, though you have to know your body well to straddle the line. Make sure you change that routine up every couple weeks also.

Good to know man, I am taking into consideration the over training and trying to eat even more just incase.

I hear what your sayin about the good and bad, I hate legs days I have to do them on a Sat. so come SUnday when I'm hung over and don't want to move I have 2 reasons. I hate going to work on a monday and walking like I just took it in the ass. haha.

Thanks a bunch all I was hoping it was the gear, now I can keep moral high!

^^ Gear definitely increases your recovery. It's noticeable (and amazing.) Just wait for PCT, bro, watch out. The soreness returns, with a vengeance. (As I stumble around 2 days after a Nelson Montana calf routine.)
