first experience with slin today...

about 10 miutes away from the six hour mark... man, i was kind of scared because i had never injected anything into me before but you cant even feel a 29 gauge pin going into you. lighter than a raindrop. i was originally gonna start with 1 i.u. but i got greedy and went for about 4. no problems whatsoever. heh, and for my first cycle i had planned not to go over 6-8 i.u.'s ...scratch that i'll make my way up to 10.the only thing is that since my maltodextrin, dextrose, fructose post workout powder from proteinfactory hasnt arrived yet i had to drink an ultra fuel which has 100g of carbs even though i only needed about 40. oh well, im sure it will not make much of a difference. i also had plenty of whey isolate and glutamine. i even ate some fiber chewable tablets...the way i see it is that since i have such a fast metabolism, the fiber would slow digestion down and i will absorb more protein and glutamine. i also didnt get to take creatine today but i should have it by tomorrow. dont know if anyone really cares... i just thought that i would share it.

You will get great benefits from using slin! As far as the twinlab drink, that is a great product to use. The creatine and glutamine taken along with it is a great idea as well for it will give you maximum absorption. If you get the nerve, go for twice daily injections for maximum results.
 
yeah, i might go for two slin shots a day, but not on my first cycle. once i get a few cycles of it under my belt and know my body's reactions more i'll try out a few of the more "riskier" methods of using slin.

but i have a couple of questions...

since i am an ectomorph, i believe that when it comes to weight training... less is more (my body takes longer to repair muscle tissue) so i train about every other day. this would equal to a total of 3 or 4 insulin injections a week. but they are spaced one day apart. would this in anyway change the way i should cycle it?
 
If it had 100g, and you only needed 40g, you could have just drank half of it and saved the other half for tomorrow. Just something to think about. :D
 
I have only been using about 4grams of carbs per iu and it is working great! I am drinking so much protein and eating so much chicken I could puke though! I am taking 15iu's before workout and 15ius after of log!

believe me, i thought about it. the problem was that i also mix my glutamine powder in there with it. if i drank half of it, then i would only be getting half of the glutamine.

i am wondering if you could get away with just using protein. because protein can also be converted into glucose in the absence of carbs. just not as easily but screw that, i dont feel like taking the chances. as i go on i will gradually lower the carbs per iu, but for now it is better safe than sorry.
 
Took my first shot of slin today too. 6iu's of humalog post workout. Feeling fine 3 hours later. :) Gonna piund back some more protein and hit the hay in a few. Gonna watch the fat accumulation though cause I'm paranoid as shit of that. All in all, went well. :) Now I gotta figure out how to diet with slin. Oh, and don't replace carbs with protein - you WILL die that way.
