first cycle opinions

This is my first post. I have been an observer for a few years. I would appreciate any input you have on my first cycle. I am 22 years old with 6 years of training experience. My stats are 6'2, 207, w/ 6% bodyfat. I am thinking about running 500mg's of test a week and 200mg's of EQ a week for 10 weeks. Is that too much test for a beginner cycle? I will also have the appropriate pst cycle and ancillaries. I have done a ton of research on this, but I would like a little confirmation. I am willing to sacrifice larger gains for slower more quality gains. I am planning on trying to compete in a year or two. I would like to put on 10-15 keepable pounds after all is said and done. I am also a little acne prone, I am on tetracycline right now. Thanks for you help! :D
 
I would run your first cycle like this:

Week 1-10 Test @ 500mg/week
Week 1-10 Eq @ 400mg/week

You will be fine with such low doses!! Good luck with your cycle bro!
 
Well....

I.M.O those doses are way too high for a 1st cycle. I would never recommend a cycle like that let alone take one for the 1st time in that fashion. Bro our bodies produce a certain amount of test each week and there is a similarity between big, small, avg., etc. males. We produce roughly close tyo the same amount regardless of your size. Don't get me wrong u will have acceptions but in general what i am getting at is there is no reason to use such a high does. The most i would go at one time for the 1st cycle would be 500mgs/week tops and thats a single ester to keep blood levels stable and also just that. You need to see how your body reacts to test. and also remember the higher the dosage the more the sides!!!! If you can't grow off of 250 mgs/week let alone 500mgs./week for your 1st cycle then u need to check your diet or training becuase that is where the problem lies. Ninja, do you think I should just run one or the other and not both? Or should I split it up to 250mg's test/wk and 250mg's EQ/wk? I think I would rather run more EQ and less test. Test kind of puts the fear in my heart . I don't want to bloat up and gain a lot of water weight, I would rather stay nice and tight.
 
i bet you would get great gains if you went with 250 of each..

but at the same time dont think 500 of each is too high for a first cycle because many people take that for a first cycle and love the results
 
I definitely agree with tech 1. Go with the 500mg test and 400 mg EQ/ week. Its your first cycle and youre already a big boy so make it count. Dont use sust use enanthate for your test. Eat plenty of protein while youre on EQ. Keep a good diet and train hard. Let us all know how it goes. Later
 
Great info guys! Would it be a good idea for me to start out at a lower total milligram and then ramp it up? Maybe start out at 250mg's of test and 250 mg's EQ a week then bump up the test to 500 after a couple of weeks. Do I need to test (pardon the pun) my tolerance? :idea:
