Finishing up cycle....wrecked HDL/LDL

Hello everyone!

I have read the forum rules. I am 45 and started out with a testostarone level of 207 around the month of February. Doctor put me on some test gel and it was lame. Went to another dr. and began HRT. Once a week I used test e at 175 mg along with anastrazole every day. After that vial was used I switched to Test Cyp at same dosage. When I started the Test Cyp I also included Var 50mg a day for two weeks but dropped using it because of libido. I have also been on HGH 3iu per day for 2 months.

I have been working out about 5 times a week. Have been lifting off/on since I was teenager. Played football in high school. Once I began HRT I was at the gym regularly to take advantage of the test's andro effects.

I have alway had a muscular build. I seem to keep muscle on easily but also keep fat on easily.

220lbs
waist 37
bodyfat probably 25%

Since starting HRT I have energy to do things all day. I used to be tired all the time (test level 207). I would go run maybe two errands in town ( I live 35 min. from town.) and I would be bushed; nap time. Now I go to the gym and can hang with the young guns playing basketball for bout 2 or 3 pickup games and then do weights. My strength has increased as expected. I was using 90 pound dumbells for inclined bench press. I have never done this in my life, nor ever thought I would want to...lol.

I have put on big muscle weight and decreased bodyfat. I would like to drop my waistline some more.

This has been my first cycle and I began the HGH in early February. Testostarone e and Test cyp I began in middle of March. My diet has been reasonably clean. For a couple of those weeks I lost my appetite, which is extremely rare for me. I would usually eat one healthy high protein, low fat, low carb meal and the rest was meal replacement bars and protein shakes.
I have been very good about taking/eating 200 grams of protein everyday. I would eat a burger no fries or fried chicken once a week and would not eat anything but meal replacement bar and protein shakes for the rest of the day.

Supplements
Fish oil 2 large gel caps ed
silimarin/milk thistle ed
grape seed extract ed
sam-e ed

I have always had excellent blood work. HDL were usually 170-180 and LDL were high.
I take blood pressure medication but its a very small dose.

My last blood work:
HDL 218
LDL 18
Test 1100-1400

I have had estrogens levels and all that other complete blood work if anyone is interested in the data.

My question is this I am about to finish my Test Cyp. I will begin my PCT and want some advice. I have access to HCG, Nova. Which and what else should I take to get my HPT axis back in order. Will my cholesterol works itself back in order? I am sure my test levels will drop again so what should I do to maintain them?

I would like to keep all the muscle and go all out on cardio to drop some more bodyfat, how do i do this w/o losing to much muscle?

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. It is my first cycle. I learned that the Var wrecked my cholesterol because my blood work was good prior to beginning the Var.

How many mg of the anastrozole are you taking per day?

Chances are the var crashed your HDL's, the anastrozole is probably making it tougher to recover.

If you can, scale back the arimidex to the least amount you can get away with. Add in niacin, the flush kind if you can tolerate it. There's a supplement called "colest-off" that helps, also up the dietary fiber substantially, cook with olive oil, things like krill oil are excellent.

Nolva should help the values as well.

I would get some aromasin to run with that PCT, but thats just me.

Following a similar protocol my cholesterol values went from 17 to 43 in exactly one months time.

...the anastrozol/zinc/picolinate doesn't have a dosage. It was a compound pharmacy that mixed it. I stopped taking it about two weeks ago. I had 60 capsules and only have like 3-4 left.

I do take metamucil occasionally and will start everyday like you suggested. Funny thing is my general practioner suggest I lose 30 lbs with no regard for my bodyfat %.

Remember the old school way of fitting in those doctors charts or you were obese...lol. I never fit in the 5'8" scale in my life lmbo...


I would like to get water weight tested for body fat soon...

Your doc was right, you don't need steroids you need to get your diet pat down,How you look starts in the kitchen.

when I diet down aggresively prior to shows my cholesterol always improves dramatically no matter how much and what kind of gear I use

I remember last year I did 8 weeks keto diet along with 90mins low intensity cardio per day. My cycle was 100mg test + 100mg tren + 50mg winstrol + 150mg anavar per day. My total cholesterol and LDL went down for about 200% in that time

I agree with this exact point. Its all in the diet. I just had my total cholesterol checked and it was under 100. I was in my 5th week of my diet and just Getting double digit fat intake. (All of it was unsaturated omegas, no red meat, etc) Now I wasn't on any gear but its just an example of how much diet can help your cholesterol.

This is impossible. You must mean LDL 218 and HDL 18 which is very very bad. You'll probably straighten out getting off the hormones, but I'd get it checked frequently to make sure you don't stay anywhere near those levels. But are you getting completely off? Why would you stop test if you are on HRT for low test.
 
5 8 and 240. this is the problem

no way you are 16% body fat. it is physically IMPOSSIBLE to be that height and weight and be 16%. you are more like 26% or more.

that is why your cholesterol is so bad.


I pretty much agree with Steve. If you are 240 at 5'8" and 16% bodyfat, you would be VERY VERY jacked

Get that bodyfat down and your cholesterol numbers will definitely improve. I'm sure a diet change will help everything. Body composition, and health
