so many tool smug assholes.
i've finally found a sick lady, no problem whipping out the
twig and berries and joking about it with her (physical).
out of service provider, so i have to pay a bit more, but it's worth it.
i hope chris234324324 becomes a surgeon and not a GP doc.

i hate the medical industry. ive been to 5 doctors alone this year for one set of injuries and still have no resolution. this isnt even the worst.. years back i had to see 9 specialists before they could get it together. i even had 2 of them tell me to consider psychiatric help for the issue. in the end, all it took was the right testing and what do ya know.. it turned out to be the issue that i had suspected the entire time.

most of the time i cant even be bothered with the frustration of it all, but when i do have to go in i dont take any shit.. they work for me and if theyre not capable of handling that (ie. acting like theyre the boss, at the pinnacle of human knowledge) then im out the door faster than they can file the paperwork. its unfortunate, but you have to be pro-active and aggressive, because the ones who behave like that certainly dont have your best interest in mind.

Sounds like you just kept going to different doctors until you got the answer you wanted. lol

THIS I totally understand. I NEVER go and and when I do, its because something is wrong. I've been blown off everytime.

My primary doc is a D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).

She is very well educated, but doesn't have the word "no" in her vocabulary. It is not uncommon for her to go through a few refills of her fountain pen after she scribes out my "wish list" prescriptions.

I  her!

see, these docs are like fairytales to me. im on the same meds for 4 years and the motherfuckers make me take a drug test to get a refill. i know im a bamf but thats lunacy.

So I guess she's a bad Dr then...

My doc will advice a treatment plan for whatever ails me and when she's finished if I'm not onboard I suggest "plan B" ... none of the above

her philosophy is I have to live in my own skin and the path I chose is ultimately my decision

this is my sis' doc. I need him.

haven't been to a GP in years but in the past I've always relied on word of mouth recommendations.

with this crazy information super highway thing I doubt it'd be hard to find a good one based on reviews....

my lady worked as a dietitian for a doc's office

found out a few months later, based on her stories, it was joose friendly

numerous Bears players were coming in for "vitamin shots" is what she was told

I explained to her what I thought was going on.....a light bulb went off in her head and she put things together

Park Ridge. Joose Friendly! Nimbus, you're near there, hit it up!

The head dietitian there also boofed someone on the chiro chair (told my lady all about it).

Your odds are pretty good even if you don't get teh joose.

Pretty corrupt place...they offered a FT job for like 30K/yr...you can see why she declined :)

hah, indeed

so she was one of those match.com sluts

always telling my lady about her newest interest (made her super uncomfortable)

checking shit out on the 'net while consulting with clients, etc.

real arrogant bitch here, gives speeches about diet shit to thousands of people, more or less to push her supplements (all garbage, btw)

she went out on a date and brought dude back to the office after hours, unlocked that shit and took him into the fuckin chiropractor's room and fucked 'em. First date. Real classy.

Sorry i don't know if he came or what :)

lol i thought she had nailed one of her patients. but still lol

the paradox is that the more money you give doctors the worse they get cause they only wanted to be doctors for the money and prestige. Sucks it has to be that way but after this health care thing takes effect what you're going to end up seeing is people becoming doctors who actually "give a fuck". It was amazing for me to personally witness the blazing mediocrity exhibited by some of the best doctors in the world in arguably the top clinic in the world. And this was before Obama took office so long before anybody had any incliniation the health care industry was going to change.

i've had great experiences with almost all my doctors, and i think most animosity towards Dr.s comes from people who don't understand medicine as well as they think they do.

i have a hard time believing that a noteworthy % of docs take on huge debts and go through all that b.s. without caring about helping people.

I don't pretend to understand medicine as well as they do ...

but I've had experiences with common maladies netting as many different "opinons" as different Docs I visited with no common reasoning

sometimes it seems as they conjure a treatment plan by the coin flipping methodology
