Finally pulled 495

Damn it felt good...some of you know I have been chasin 5 plates for awhile. Still at 205 lbs bodyfat is below 10% 6'2''. All natty!!!

Yeah I know I should of added 5 more lbs for 500 but I am not sure if I would have gotten it. Next week for sure!! I am almost at 2.5x my bodyweight.

Big Pull Bro!!! Anytime you add a set of wheels to the bar it's a major accomplishment. Keep pulling and train smart!
 
Nice pull bro, i remember when i pulled 5 plates still! Quite a milestone.

Sumo just feels akward to me not sure if its because of my longs legs or what not.

I try not to use belt or straps to a certain point but I did with this lift. Right now I can pull around 430 for 2 without straps anything more and my grip goes to shit. I only use a belt for singles.

On the brigher side I have only been back into heavy deadlifting for around 4 weeks now which kind of pumps me up. I took a few months off of it. So I was pumped as hell when I was able to jump this quickly. Just goes to show with the right foods you can make some serious gains.
 
Its feels good to put 5 plates on and know that you can hit it. I pulled a damn muscle or something in my side up near my ribcage and I cant hardly even DL right now. I dont know wtf I did but it hurts like a SOB!
I was hoping to go for 6 plates this week but it looks like that will have to wait awhile.
Good job on the 495, now try it for a double or triple next time!

yeah alot of people dont like sumo, obviously conv works for you! i like the way you think as far as straps and a belt, you are doing it right
 
Thought Id post another PR up here. Close grip bench 275 x 3. Felt strong as hell today. I dont flat bench to often I may start again. At the end of my workout and tried 315 and went pretty smooth so we will see if can have another PR on monday!!!

im the same. anything over 435 and i need chalk. dont use straps or a belt though. chalk easily adds 50 pounds to the lift. its amazing. without the chalk its like i have grease on my hands and all the work is holding onto the bar.

I use chalk on EVERYTHING. Even squats when i am doing a max attempt. People don't realize how much better of a grip having dry powdery hands gives you...
 
Think I have some sort of stomach virus but I still went and deadlifted today. 515 !!!! Belt and chalk thats it!!

I might enter a deadlift comp thats in 4 weeks, im going to think about it.
