Depends on your training. I'm on a Wheaties, Flintstone's and chicken diet and I train each muscle twice a week with no problem. :)

What kind of intensity and set-rep scheme are you working with?
 
I like to keep my intensity mid to high. I usually do 3 to 4 sets depending on the exercise, and reps i like to do 8, 6, 6 or 10, 8, 8
 
If you're not traning to failure you can train at least twice a week if you're NOT on...so I would imagine you can train twice a week on. Give it a try! It should only take a couple weeks to notice if you're recovering enough between training days.

i second this.
i train 2x / week, but never go to failure.
if on, I would increase the volume slightly (amount of sets)
 
No, it's a training question about training intensity and recovery time while on, IMO. I fear the answers he would receive in that forum. lol
