FinA - Baking

Does eberyone Bake there Fina once they have made it?

If so, a few months ago I was reading a post on here where one guy said to bake it at the rec temp (20 mins, leave to rest for hour, then repeat 2 more time), but every five minutes take it out and puncture the top to release air ....does everyone do this?.....does everyone bake it?

I usually do but to be honest, its not necessary. The sterile filter will catch bacteria.

Yeah, Zyggy's correct. When I do it, I just stick a needle in there while it's in the oven.

I dont know if it was a bad batch of stoppers or what, but a few guys have had the hole from the needle stay open after using that method. Maybe cause they used a harpoon when a 25g would be sufficient?

Possibly. I use a 23g, since they no longer have permission to pierce my skin.
