FF337 Lipoflame Thread

I just ordered Lipoflame for the first time today after presenting the idea to my doctor, he said go ahead.

Dec. 1st I weighed in at 295. This morning I weighed in at 275. W/ Cardio 30 minutes, 2x's per week. Diet has consisted of very limited sweets. Thats all.

Well, I am stepping it up a notch with Cardio 4x's per week. Plus strength training. Plus a more strict diet designed by my doctor. He gave me a book filled with day by day, plug and play diets at roughly 1500 calories per day.

He told me to follow the plan for 3 months, come to see him and go from there.

My goal is 225 lbs. This is the beginning of the journey. Stay tuned.

DO NOT EAT ONLY 1500 CALORIES PER DAY. That is called moderate anorexia. I don't know who the fuck your doctor is but he is an idiot. Especially at 270, holy shit.

For your own sake, post up everything else he told ya.

He is a Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases Doctor, No I do not have any infectious diseases. I was referred to him from a good friend of mine who lost close to 200 lbs with his guidance.

Do not take this the wrong way But, Sorry I missed the MD on your shirt. I love the fact that I can sit behind my computer and get GREAT help and Awesome knowledge from elite. I hate the fact that people will shoot you in the foot everytime you open your mouth. I'll adapt.

I am not bodybuilding, I am not entering a contest. I am trying to loose the fat off my ass.

I told him I wanted to loose the weight and inches. He said follow a diet/cardio/workout plan. Until, it stops working I am going to follow his advice.

A. Sorry if I came off like a prick, was just annoyed at the shit that the word "doctor" gets you away with.

B. Being a doctor doesn't make you all knowing. Especially about topics outside of your field.

C. I have worked with career professional dieticians, professional body builders, professional athletes, a couple NFL trainers, and many people on this forum. I'm willing to bet the collective knowledge I have gained, been around, read, tested and experienced about diet is more then this doctors.

D. Nobody I know would suggest a 270 pound male that is overweight to eat 1500 pounds. That is called starvation.

It will lead to your body reacting by decreasing your metabolism. Your body will metabolize muscle before it eats fat. Your fat will go down, but once you reach a low fat level you will end up looking like a concentration camp victim.

As soon as you start eating normal again your body will overreact at the income and start storing as much as possible as fat. Combined with your lowered metabolism, your body will become fat again quickly.

In short; extreme caloric restrictions burn muscle and lowers metabolism. Using the calories by exercising burns fat.

E. Regardless if you want my suggestions or not, the standard is to eat 2300ish calories a day. 30-35% proteins, 45-50% carbs, 15-25% fats. Carbs come from at least 80% complex(oatmeal, wheats, etc), lean proteins as often as possible with whey being okay, and fats ideally fish oils, nut oils, etc. Exercise at least 4/5 times a week. HIIT training or 65ish% max heart rate type running. Workout your standard routine as hard as possible.

F. It's your choice, but I would search a lot more references then just your doctor.

Good luck.

Thank you for your help. You can understand my defensive comment. You jumped down the doc's throat without knowing half the story. I am not questioning your knowledge, infact commending it.

Thank you again for your help.

FF337,

you are not a body builder? that's fine.

May i suggest you lift weights and try to build good muscle anyway. Your body will always use muscle before fat for exta energy. But, if you are lifting weights, your body HAS to use the fat for energy and therefore you will lose more fat while lifting weights than just doing cardio and diet.

Weight lifting is a crucial part of dropping significant fat and lookng good. No if's and's or but's about it.

like said, 1500 calories for a 270 lb male is not good. my mother weighs 110 and she eats that much everyday and maintais weight. She doesn't even work out. At 110! you should eat atleast 2500 a day.
