It was good to have him back today...lit a fire under my butt for sure
He also had a few good ideas for exercises too...
We did box squats and my squat STILL feels all funky. I just can't get into my groove. It is probably mental but I can still tell that there is a lot of muscle imbalances and I am not 100%.
On my 3rd set with 315 I actually came to a complete stop on the box on the 2nd rep...not sure what happened. I say TOO far back I think...felt strange.
My 4th set was MUCH better and my 5th set actually felt like the best set I'd done in AGES!!!! 6 set wasn't all that great though...didn't hold onto it very long.
You can see the 5th set here...my knees didn't go TOO far fwd on these...not as much as usual anyway.

We did some speed deads with 370 and I used some wide double overhand grips. Seemed that the wider my grip went the easier it got. Possible weakness in my hams still and the wider grip allows me to use my mid/upper back more???????
Did 3 singles with 230 on sumo pulls also.
I'll call this one the Cheese Sumo (rather than the Sumo Dimel Dead). Heck of an idea

We did 3 sets of 5 of these and they are MUCH better than pull throughs for hips (I think). They really fried my hips in a good way. I tried to focus on sitting back, upright chest, and ONLY moving my hips.
As always...finished off with some reverse hypers, calves, abs, and grip.
Enjoy and feel free to comment about my squat. I am beginning to just quit worrying about my knees coming fwd and squat. I think that I am THINKING too much when I squat and I can't even get pumped up to squat...
