Fertillity issues

Hey everone,

Just want to thank everyone here for all their in-depth knowledge of the subject of our sport.

Even though I have been in the iron game for sometime now and consider my self educated, I have a question that I can't find answers for.

My wife and I are trying to have a baby, and I have been off anabolics since March. Had a test to see my count, and I wasn't even on the chart for having any sperm. This worried me, and my physician sent me to an Endocrinologist, who took a free testosterone test and called for another sperm test. I took alot of clomid after I took anabolics in March. I have used off and on for 3.5 years and I am hoping I didnt permanenantly take away my "fathering abilities"

I would still like to take maybe anavar to maintain my physique, and I no in moderate doses it does not affect the hpta. Is it worth it, and will it hinder me more in my quest to become fertile? So, do you folks here have any experience with the fertility question? I realize now, how important things are I took for granted in my quest for "gettin big"

Thanks for any imput....

I would recomend clomifine at 400mg per day. You can keep this dossage for up to a year... It will increase your sperm cound via increasing folicile stimulating hormone which stimlulates the serotoli cells to produce sperm. 400mg of clomid per day is the normal dose for fertility increase in men. You wife could take it as well. You wife would need to take 50mg/day for 5 consecutive days per month. This should be started 5 days after uterine bleeding stops which would mean day 5 of the menstral cycle. If no ovulation is acheived, she can increase to 100mg/day the following month. But ONLY for 5 days starting on day 5 of her menstral cycle. This course can be continued for ONLY 3 months. Then she must wait at least 6 months before trying clomid therapy again.

Using 100mg/day and over can increase risk of dizygotic twins due to the overproduction of fertile eggs.

However, since your sperm count is low, the chances of multiple births are not very high.

Animal swears that arimidex will "get your ho pregnant" as he put's it. There is a very good thread on this issue on AF, unfortunately the board is down right now.

400mg clomiphene citrate per day for a year?? You gotta be kidding me !! I doubt any doctor would recommend that dosage. Like most of other meds we choose to use in quest of size, clomiphene citrate is no different and is only to be used short term. Even when prescribed to women with fertility problems it is only prescribed for very short term use. BTW, your liver won't be worth a fuck after that rediculous dose.

Fertility issues are nothing to mess around with, I seriously advise against taking any advice from non-qualified individual. Also, see more than one doctor before making any decisions in terms of treatment and/or surgery. I have been diagnosed with Azoospermia, and a missing vas diferens, several options have been presented to me and I have definitely ruled out surgery for personal reasons. My wife and I have decided to adopt. Good luck, I know first hand the struggle both you and your wife are going through.

400mg per day is a normal schedule for clomid use in males with fertility problems.

Less than 2 months of clomid use will not provide much in the way of fertility in males. Normal schedule is 2 to 12 months.

Even when prescribed to women with fertility problems it is only prescribed for very short term use.
Read my post. Women use clomid for ONLY 5 days at a time.

BTW, your liver won't be worth a fuck after that rediculous dose.

Clomid is NOT hard on the liver.

If you had talked to a more qualified individual, you probably wouldn't have to adopt.

Thanks Stew for your reply. I posted that back on June 1 and never got a response till now. I was ready to give up on this board...anyhow, I couldnt afford taking 8 clomid a day for a year, so I am hoping the endocrinologist I see the 23rd will give me a script. What exactly does arimdex do? Should I throw in some tribulus as well, I know that this is good for stimulated FSH? Thanks for all your responses boyz...
