Favorite vacation places?

I don't do the whole cruises thing or the vacations in other country. Not to say that I don't want to... just haven't gotten around to it yet. I have planned a vacation to PR but haven't been. I have a friend there who rents out a fully furnished condo on the beach. I do like camping though. My folks have an area on Chesapeake Bay that I like to go to. Eventually they will build a house and then it won't be camping anymore, LOL. I do the whole tent, fire, bugspray, chopping wood thing... but in the next couple of years I plan on getting a camper.... you know... LCD tvs, A/C, state of the art kitchen.... I'm getting old... :D
 
take a cruise to hawaii. well not really to hawaii. you fly to LAX and then fly to hawaii and get on the boat and you stay on the boat for 7 days and spend like 1 day on each island. it was really fun

There is also something really magical about Devon and Cornwall.


I really want to do a cruise down the Nile stopping at all the antiquities and then spending a week on the beach at the Red Sea.
 
I had this trip, which was great. NY to Nice drove to Montecarlo, drove St Remo, then went to some Islands from Italy, such as Capri, Porto Fino, Corsica, Santa Esmeralda.

I have.
First time I went to Tokyo, I was 10, my mother, took 3 steps, and I lost her.

All I saw was a bunch of black haired people who looked like my mom.

It was scary so I cried and approached some white American Pilot for American Airlines and told him I lost my mom.

Luckily she found me.

We're not high rollers but we like to feel like it! We like to rent a condo (Wyndham Resort) at Seaside Oregon. It's about 3 hours away and has a full kitchen. We buy all of our food at Safeway and BBQ there. Ice cream on the boardwalk, separate room for the kids. :qt:

I don't think I'd have a problem being lost in Tokyo.... I have a sinking feeling I'd be about 5 inches taller than everyone :D
 
I'm 5'10 barefoot... so maybe I will find you and thands.... :D

I was watching a show on the travel channel and it was funny because they were showing rush hour in Tokyo and you could see all of the americans walking because they were so much taller then everyone else.
 
Do they have rules about visiting certain South American countries as a US citizen? You know... like how it is with Cuba?
 
I'm a Vegas guy. Me and my crew go at least twice a year. Always amazing times. We're all headed there this fall to celebrate our collective 30th bdays. And get some hoes pregnant with our cocks and semen.

i prefer adventure travel.. and the beach.. I'll retire there, baja or something along those lines..

I second the ol' west country...and real cornish pasties :D


That said, Japan was a top favourite - i did Tokyo, Osaka and Gion (Kyoto) where we went geisha spotting :)

Here in CR we have anything but smow, there's rain forest, tropical forest, cloud forest, hot springs, active volcano with 24h eruptions, crystal beaches, catibbean beaches, mountain retreats, etc yet I dislike it... I burn badly and hate bugs... my vacation is going to NYC :p

We always call(ed) it DWA (Driving While Asian - more closely resembles 'DWI'), but whatever!

Word, or the Badlands SD, or Moab.

I had an azz load of fun biking in the badlands. Half is Indian territory, half if federal park. I think it's the Indian's half that you can go wherever you darn well please. Plus it's kinda close to Mt. Rushmore and Devil's Tower. I had an azz load of fun at devil's tower. Anyone can climb up it, I only made it to the face

Cruises rock you guys are crazy I turn those ships inside out and make friends with the whole MF.
