Fat people

You know at one time I was fat, then I changed my ways realy fast becouse my helth was going to sh*t......Pluss I felt like Sh*t.....

any way one thing I never did is blame somone elss for me being way over on the scale end, I was about 100 pounds over the scale, about 300 pounds all to gether, I guess Im trying to ask.....

Wy do all Fat people like to blame every thing and everybody elss, for thare own over eating......

Its like saying (its all your falt that that peace of cake is too damn good) Its all your falt that Im a Fat Azz,

Be real its no ones falt but your own, and all you need to do is quit eating all that damn junk food, and crap like that...........

What is all your thouts on this Bull.......

Dont get me wrong I just hate when people blame other things or people for thare own doing................

ive just accepted the fact that 99% of people can not take responsiblity for their own actions. ie its mcdonalds fault im fat so I will sue them, I was drunk thats why I hit them etc etc

people never want to admit they are wrong,I feel society puts stress on being right,and admiting your wrong makes you weak.

I dont see it that way,but thats my take on how other people view things.

That is some wicked transformation. When you meant fat i thought you actually meant when you see chicks with the kangaroo pouch hanging half way to their knees fat.

And yea those really obese people really should do something. You would almost think they don't care about living if they let themselves turn into that unless theres a medical explanation. Its just plain sick!

since the beginning of time people have blamed their stupid mistakes and inadequacies on someone else...

the only thing different these days is we have to listen to them and feel sorry for them
 
change is scary. people love routines. but most of all they have to make that decision that they want things to be better for themselves.

OK, Biggie, when you were 3/4 of the way to your top weight, what was your mindset? How did you rationalize it?
A lot of people who are fat have the same problems dealing with their "issue" as others. Like smokers, porn addicts, workaholics, etc. They rationalize & justify. But, as you know, it's fucking hard to make that decision to stop. How many times did you try to lose weight before you did?
The thing with fatties is, their "issue" is evident to all the world. You can't hide it. It's also not socially acceptable, like smoking or workaholics. It's also not something you can quit cold turkey.
You wanna quit smoking? Great! Make it through the first 3 months without & you're home free.
You wanna lose weight? Great! Stop eating & you'll lose weight pretty fast. Losing weight is much more complex an endeaver than any other addiction. You can't go on a 12 step program to stop eating. Everywhere you turn there is an ad for food, junk food, poison. Everyone you know is saying, "Come on big guy, eat! You need more than that." & when a thin person sees a fat person eat a salad & drink a diet pop, do they say "Good for him!" Or do they say "Who are they trying to kid?"
A lot of people don't have the will power, support, or time to do all this. They might one day, but not now.
 
By the way, you did a great job with your transformation.
Could you imagine if you had 100 or 200 more pounds to lose? And what exercise would have been like at that 4oo odd pound starting weight?

Bro I respect your reply But most of all my waight loss was from diet and to top it off it was not that hard, one of the things I stoped doing was eating late, yes I stop eating 5 hours before bed, thats when the wait started to drop off.
 
a lot of fatties have low self esteem but have looked at the pros and cons and decided that pros of eating whatever you want and doing no exercise outweigh the cons of being fat

the fatties i know blame circumstance or glands for their problem not other people, whatever the root of the problem is there's usually a whole lot of eating going on somewhere

Hay not every one can eat like a pig and stay slim, but wy eat like a pig if you are going to look like one, and if you like to eat like a pig then do your body a good dead and work out or do some cardio or somthing I like to eat, but I dont over do it all the time.........Pluss It saves money too

I can relate that to my workouts... i KNOW i could be bigger and make quicker progress... if i worked a little, harder.. not my lifting,. but by my diet.
im fucked with genes....good looking ...YES, but when it comes to gaining... its shit! i blame most of it on my genes... but i know if i were to sharpen up my diet... i'd be going where i need to be...i slack toooo much on that, i need a kick in the ass sometimes.. i can eat micky d's everyday and not gain a pound.. no fat stores on me...that's prolly y i dine out on cheep food too :(

We are all so much better when we drop the right, right?

Dude, you don't get overweight overnight, you do it one bite at a time, over a period of years. How do you answer yourself during that period?

Oh yes, it is easy to take the "Hollier than thou" stance after the weight is gone and flame the people that has not taken the plunge for the better (as you didn't for years maybe).

It takes one key second to change yaour life for good. Some do it, some simply don't want to because they are afraid and hide their fear behind excuses (too much work, it will take too long, etc).

Instead of bashing people for whatever excuse they use, listen for the ones that sincerely want to help and lend a hand. You will feel much better than hating

It's amazing how much effort people put into working out: lifting weights, cardio, yoga, Tai chi, pilates, etc. when with a little more effort in the diet, things could come together so much more quickly. It's a mental game & more often than not, I sabotage myself.

Because they're fat! Not only can they not see their toes they can't see reality either.

Anyone who blames someone else for their mishaps and hang up's outta be chin checked...

Bro I love helping people with diet I wish people helped me as much as I do, and yes it makes me feel good when I help others out, you are right bro....

Every one that I have wrote a diet for but 1, just dont follow it. (To Bizzy)

I realize I'm not Dorian Yates, but since I work out, a lot of people have asked me for advice. My own diet sucks great big fat stinking................well you get the picture. So I just stick to the basics with them..
But I have been lifting for over 10 years, so I feel I can give some useful advice. But nobody follows it. My wife lifted for 6 months, my daughter for 1. I've written beginner programs for people at work & nobody lasted more than a week. No time. My own brother, who is also diabetic and has seen the success I have, says he is too busy. :rolleyes: Yet he steadily gains weight & increases his insulin dependence. :worried:
 
I'm not sure why people who are overweight look for reasons or excuses to cling to in trying to explain their weight. I always get frustated when someone says that they don't eat much but when I ask them what their caloric intake is they don't have a clue. If they would just turn their attention inwards and focus on understanding themsleves and how they ended-up overweight, then they would be much closer to finding a healthy, long-term, solution.

Unfortunately, there will always be people who think there is nothing wrong with spandex being made in EXTRA-LARGE sizes.

My best friend has always been overweight (obese). A few years ago, she was a size 22 and decided to lose weight. She did the "Quick Weight Loss Centers" diet program and got down to a SIZE EIGHT! She was 30 years old and hadn't been a size eight since junior high!

Unfortunately, she didn't have the right mindset. She viewed it as a "diet", not a lifestyle change. She told me that now that she was a size 8 she wanted to enjoy life. She was tired of eating chicken and vegetables all the time and wanted to eat what her family ate (pizza, snacks, chips, etc). Within a few months after reaching her goal weight, she was back up to a size 16 - where she is today.

She calls me to complain about how it's just so "unfair" that she has to eat healthy from now on and blah blah blah. She works out sporadically at Curves but has really done NOTHING to educate herself on what effects exercise and proper diet have on her body.

She sees a healthy lifestyle as depriving her of the "fun" things, and doesn't feel that losing the weight (and being healthy) is worth not having what she wants, when she wants it.

It hurts me to see her spin her wheels, but even though she asks my advice all the time - she never utilizes it. Because you know... it's too hard. :rolleyes:

Agreed.

I said the exact same thing 5 months ago.

And, before anyone has anything to say, I felt the same way when I got heavier (and then lost the weight to where I am now). My tolerance level for people that continue to make excuses and not change their lives is low regardless of the issue.

sometimes it's all genectic. If your mom or dad was a fat ass then most likely you will get the same treatment. Blame the parents!
