Electrolytes not a problem
Well, if drinking too much water results in some kind of sodium and potassium imbalance then I'm safe because my ketogenic diet has me eating all kinds of sodium-laced stuff.
From what I remember on the Zone Diet (not sure about atkins or straight keto), regulating insulin also had the effect of regulating a hormone in charge of sodium retention so sodium wasn't a big deal on low-carb'ish diets. Look into it.
But really think about this....how many freakin people does anyone know that are dying from water consumption each day? If you check the facts, you'll probably find out that it was to the extreme. If you're an extremist, then be afraid. If you're almost an extremist, then drink away my friends...
